$0.69 Lock & Locks, Xpect Discounts
Board: State: Connecticut

Thread Board
Just picked up some true lock & locks from Xpect Discounts for 69 cents each. These are the lime green holiday ones, but I spray paint. Size is the flat rectangular one that easily holds a 3x5" logbook. I bought everything they had in the Derby store of that size. They had some bigger ones, but I don't like trying to hide large containers.

there are postal ones

I did NOT know there were postal hitchhikers. How do you list them on AQ--as hitchhikers or as postals? I'd love to get one--I have impossibly bad luck with finding hitchhikers!

Of course the Star Wars card that I'm currently making is not for this swap. I'll have to come up with something else.

I think they are listed as HHers but in the clue state they are postal HH and are to stay in postals.

I think we will just be watching (weak ankles and such), all the fun the rest of you will be having, so maybe we will spend the time spreading cooties :)

Hope to get there in time for lunch at the mellow mushroom and get started hunting along with the rest of you.

I wanted to stamp my snowflake and realized I don't have white ink, nor do I have clear. But I do have white embossing powder. I'm thinking of making up a thin paste of white glue to stamp with, then sprinkle the powder and emboss...What do you think?

Not sure if the glue would work the right way or not. You don't have clear embossing ink? That's what I always use with white powder. Ranger's Perfect Medium pad also works like a dream.

NOOOOOO cooties!!

no cooties.

hitchhikers, ok, but nooo cooties.

kinda like snakes, only less slimy. . .

and i'f'n im gonna make an idiot of myself by slamming into frozen water, i'd rather not be inundated with small random bits of carved rubber. . .

do NOT use your finger to spread Gorilla Glue. it does NOT wash off with water and makes your whole hand sticky. WHY did no one warn me about this?

ok, wasn't really your responsibility, but i thought i would pass my hard-earned knowledge along.

yes, this is indeed how i learn all that exciting information i pass along. *sigh*
