Maybe someone outta write "Family Fun" and tell them about the other exciting letterboxing web site!

Actually, the article directs people to the website to learn more. The site has the article they did a few years ago (which I know led several of us to the hobby!) and while AQ is not mentioned in the article, it is in at least 2 of the comments. So those who want to learn more will most likely find us!

I have my Robin Hood from that ring, would you like me to send him your way?

Sounds to me like a single being released ... as in, yes, add me to that list too :)

The pride series has been relocated to an area S.W. of Pigeon Forge. All drive bys. I will try and get the clues posted in the next few days. (Mills park gets to much action for my boxes to last very long....not that they last very long in some more secure areas actually). Your welcome on the pic. If I could have figured out a smart alec remark about you I would have captioned it that way. But you seem pretty clean and beyond belittling comments. Now a few others are not in that catagory and I pounce when I get a chance. ;O) I also pounce when I like folks.

I got bio gas (10% ethenol) in Pigeon Forge Sunday for $3.39 and when we left out for home this morning at 7 I saw it still at the same price. Refilled in W.V. for $3.75/gal about 6 hours later.

I experimented and my phone does this with all themes (except white text on black, which I will just use).

When I use markers (at home mostly) I use Crayola. They work as well as the high dollar stuff and I can get more colors for the same $$$ I find myself using more colored pencils when detail is required.

I need an ink (a blue and a red) that will show up on black cardstock. Does anyone know if StazOn would work?

no, it won't if you need it to stand out. I would recommend a pigment ink and embossing.
Since you want multiple colors I would suggest colored ink with clear embossing powder.

Duh, I didn't even think of that! And it's two separate stamps, one stamped in red and one stamped in blue. So it would be easy to stamp them in any color and emboss them in the color I need. Especially since they aren't terribly detailed.
Thanks! I knew I could count on someone on AQ to figure it out for me!

using the clear powder you can stamp both colors one right after the other then sprinkle clear and not worry about them mixing. heat once.

I checked but it didn't come up. The movie is probably too old. Oh well, I guess we will start the movie and turn it off if it starts looking iffy. Thanks. :)

I usually read the book before seeing the movie. Case in point - I'm reading Water for Elephants right now in preparation for the movie coming out soon. I hate when the movie changes the ending. Usually it's better in the book and then I'm disappointed at the movie. Sometimes there are differences throughout the movie and I keep saying to myself (but never to the surrounding audience!), "It didn't happen that way. It didn't happen THAT way." I thought The Godfather and The Green Mile were very true to the literature, if memory serves.

I must say, HH, that although I may, in principle, disagree with your practice of recruiting letterboxers, I am most certainly glad that you do so.

I'm in agreement about the recruiting.

The whistle thing, that would be OK but instead of having it just for PMs have a more generic version for everyone. Letterboxing is bigger than just AtlasQuest.

If you use Zing opaque embossing powders instead of going clear, they will leap off the page.

I use mine, and enjoy it. I like that you don't have to worry about anything catching on fire or exploding (had a bottled candle do that with an electric warmer). And, the scent seems to last for a long time.
