Absolutely! I have just germinated some 5 year old seed under my grow light set. I have 24 plants (veg and flower) right now...all from 2-5 year old seed.

The germination rate goes down each year but the seeds remain viable for a very long time. As long as the seed has been kept in a relatively dry place you should be ok.

I buy the seeds on sale for a few cents a pack each year and hang onto them until I use them up. If you ever want to get serious about saving seed you can keep them in glassine envelopes inside a jar with one of those silica gel packs--aka those little packages that say "do not eat" in the box when you buy shoes and stuff...

Eeeek, had to stop myself...more than you asked for. :0)

what do you think of making a theme with some of the "almost made it" photos submitted for the calendar?

Perhaps someday. =)

You'll still get the stamp, just not the double find in the same location.
Instead of box of the month this location is becoming box of every couple years.

I had a great weekend in the Twin Cities area! Great weather, great boxes, great exchanges, and great pizza! I look forward to coming back one day!

Got 10 finds-which put me at F799! Just one more and I could have hit 800!

Just finished reading Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King last night. This book is vintage SK

I've never read any SK as I think of him as a "scary movie" sort and I don't go there. But, I am reading (audiobook) "Shawshank Redemption" for the first time right now after watching the movie (one of my top ten favorites) at least 6 times. LOVING the book! What a great writer.

(I know this sounds silly--YOU all know what a great writer he is already. But it's so cool for me to find this out at this 'late date')

I was able to get out yesterday too!

I never knew how much I would look forward to April 1st so all of the park restrooms would be open! Just another thing I have learned in my 11 months of 'boxing.

Pearlicue's series is AWESOME! Except maybe for the one that a hunter kept asking me what I was doing. Talk about making up a quick story! And, there aren't many one can come up with in these cemeteries! Now I just need to get better at solving the cryptic clues, I'm stumped!

Here's to spring and running across some fantastic people...Letterboxers!

HA!

It really wasn't a good one, BUT...I told him I was a member of "Find A Grave" and explained that sometimes people post requests for pictures of tombstones for geneaology. He looked at me like I had 3 heads, and I felt like I did too. He said I was the third person there that week and wondered what the other people were doing. I just kept standing there nodding my head and apologizing for disrupting him. I was glad when he said, "Well, have a good day" and walked away with his rifle. He was totally clueless=1 for 'boxers and 0 for noxers!

Here in the south end of Col's, the gas has been at least 10 cents higher than other parts of city. It was 3.65 on Wed and it was 3.39 in TN. I wonder when the price will stop going up.

LOVING the book! What a great writer.

Yes he is a great writer and not all the books are scary. I am jealous, you have so much SK to look forward to! Thinking about what else you might like, "The Green Mile" comes to mind. And "The Stand" is my favorite of his, you might want to give it a try. The long version is better! Some of the books ARE scary and people have different tolerances, so I will leave it up to you to discover what of his other books you can handle.

Hmm... Yeah, I have no idea why you're seeing white text, and that's way out of my area of testing!

I looked through the CSS, but I didn't find anything that seemed out of place. =(

You could try enabling the White on Black theme, which deliberately uses white text, but applies a black background color to make it legible. Best I can figure, though, your browser isn't properly applying the CSS styles. Seems weird that it only breaks for this theme, though, since I just copy existing themes then tweak the colors and images to make new themes. I'm not sure why the problem would only show up with this theme and not in all of them.
