So....9 episodes have been recovered, bringing the number of missing episodes down to 97. The episodes that were found are:

The Enemy of the World (1967-68) - episodes 1,2,3,4,5,6 (episode 3 was already in archive)

The Web of Fear (1968) - episodes 1,2,4,5,6 (episode 1 was already in archive - episode 3 still missing)

Another serial complete - that's excellent. And with only one episode missing from The Web of Fear, it's entirely possible that they could animate the missing episode as they have done with others, thereby completing another serial.

Somebody is obsessed with the countdown. I've still got about 13 months until I get to see it. The latest one I've seen is "The Angels Take Manhattan" (and "P.S."). "The Snowmen" is this Saturday. I have patience so I can wait for the 50th. i can also deal with the spoilers because there is so much in the presentation.

I just saw "The Angels Take Manhattan" for the third time this past Saturday when it was replayed on BBC America. And you know what? I cried just as much this time as I did the first time!!

It's being simulcast live in 75 countries. You don't think you can find one person you know with BBC America in the next month?

Our cable provider is switching over to full digital delivery so we have been working on getting the box, etc. Come to find out that we can upgrade our service to the first tier of digital for LESS than we are currently paying for expanded basic. We have an old plan apparently!

This means.... DRUM ROLL......

We will get BBC America, baby!!!!! Hot dog! Christmas special here I come!

I do! But I'm way up here on the Northern border. Try asking at a comic store in Harrisburg.

No, in just having a little fun.

I was too. ;-) Besides, it's okay to be obsessed as long as it doesn't take over a significant part of you life. Look at the obsession that were all involved in here; finding Tupperware in the woods.

Is this a statement about your age? ;-)

I don't know someone with BBC America, but I know someone with Netflix. Will it be there? If not I can wait. It's not like I'll disappear from time if I don't see it right away.

You missed my birthday so it's only right that you come over. Believe me, as much BBC envy as I have experienced, I'm going to need a party.

I haven't even paid attention to WHEN it's showing so I've got to get right on that and figure it all out.

Hmmm... The jacket had been picked up on a while ago, but I thought the vest and scarf didn't make sense... Now it does.

I just don't want the 50th to be about the Time War. I want the story to move forwards, not backwards.

John Hurt being the 8th Doctor would avoid the problem they thought that they had in "The Next Doctor". But then we have the problems already solved in "The Three Doctors" and "The Five Doctors".

I just don't want the 50th to be about the Time War. I want the story to move forwards, not backwards.

Then we'd be stuck at the End of the Universe. Perhaps the Doctor could visit a restaurant while he's there. Perhaps he'd meet some other British travelers. ;-)

Besides, if we never went back then we'd never have "School Reunion" and the other episodes with Rose and Mickie. This is the 50th anniversary episode so they're going to put their best effort into it, and spare no expense. If it does happen to be about the Time War, they're going to make it so worth it that even you will enjoy going "back" to the Time War.

The Children in Need specials are included on the DVD sets, so I've seen all of David Tennant's. I like the 2005 "episode", right after the 9th Doctor regenerated into the 10th. It provides a nice bridge between the end of The Parting of the Ways and the beginning of The Christmas Invasion.

You never forget your first doctor and mine was Davison. Only he could make celery look so good! I'd never had the opportunity to see this and neither has my family. I'll be showing them this one later!
