the positive image isn't any harder to carve than the negative one...it just takes a little longer because you do more cutting away of rubber. and it does make a better looking, more "professional" stamp.

We are new to letterboxing, and we're wondering what you do to carry your personal stamp around? Right now we just have them in a ziplock thrown in our bags with all the other necessary stuff.

Just wondering what others do to carry them around and care for them.

Thanks!

We keep ours in a glasses case. Well actually it's flat so it may be a clip-on sunglasses case. It works very well. I keep thinking that it would be better to store it right on an inkpad so it's handy but have yet to do that.

I tried the keeing it in the inkpad idea. It gets the stamp too messy when hiking and it gets jostled around.
