Just wanted to share these two decals that we have made for Letterboxers. One says Boxing Life with the stamp in the middle and the other says Letterbox Life with the stamp in the middle. If you are interested in seeing them, here are the links to them! I checked with the site directors and they okayed us sharing the decals. Thanks!

Would be nice with a handcarved stamp of some sort upside down rather than a Store Stamp.

Great idea. I just wanted it to be obvious it was a rubber stamp. I could personalize them with each boxers signature stamp.

Ok! How about this? We did a sample one and used our signature stamp for the center image. We listed it on our site as a custom decal and we would create one for anyone who wants one using their signature stamp. Here is a link to them and you can compare the decal to our signature stamp image.

You absolutely can. They can be completely customized. We can even do them in red, hot pink, lime green, teal, black, or white.

If anyone needs ideas for attaching path tags to a bag or backpack, I found that Velcro works very well! It lets you put them in the right direction even if the hole is on the bottom of the tag. I put some pictures on my blog:

Clever idea, Open Space!

My friends and I attach path tags to our backpacks with keyrings, which we hang from the holes in the zipper pulls.

I've done that too, but if you put more than one on the keyring they rub together and wear off the finish :-( I've also tried gluing them to findings to turn them into hat pins but they tend to fall off or break off from the pins.

Yes they do wear, especially those with gold, copper or black plating. It gives them character! I carry a few and they are showing wear but how it goes when your carry around the little treasures!

I was just going to say that. LOL.

This also works to protect your skin if you are allergic to nickel and would like to wear costume jewelry.

I use coated-wire keychains to attach the pathtags to my letterboxing pack. AND, place each pathtag in its own clear plastic coin capsule to protect it. When the capsules become overly scratched it's simple to just replace that and the tag will sustain in perpetuity.

Hi Turtlegirl 19,

Fell off a small dam trying to retreive a 'may have been washed away by the flood' box last year. (Yeah, somehow missed the LBing Common Sense training!) Got bruised, wet, scratched, and embarrassed. Didn't drown but still having the occasional nightmare. Need this patch!!! Procedure?

and where do you get these plastic coin capsules? Maybe you could stock a few of them for us?

I was thinking of coating my pathtags with a couple of coats of clear nail polish. Anyone tried that? Pathtags is sort of a new thing for most of us.
