I remember your converting a muggle on that box : ) That box and one in AK about as far as you can span the US. Kudos to that accomplishment

If you had 10 boxes and 1 person found all of them, you'd have 1 finder and 10 finds. If you had 20 boxes that 25 people all found, you'd have 25 finders and 500 finds. 246 finders can easily add up to 2500 finds.

I just checked my stats:

Total finds on your boxes: 11,310
Total finders on your boxes: 417

Looks like I'm keeping the locals pretty busy! :^) Of course, I wonder what my stats looked like before L&B??

Statistics can lie.

I believe that there is a Mark Twain quote about that.

Also I was oversimplifying, as I said. I think that you maintain you ratio because of visitors. I think that Hawaii could do that too with fewer boxers in that state because they get even more visitors than Alaska. The fun of being a tourist destination.

The find ratio to number of boxes placed also increases as your planting area expands. We would never have had as many visitors to our boxes had we not been fortunate enough to plant in many states, and frequently along oft-traveled routes.

Actually, finding one my boxes has always been a way for me to say, "Okay, I want to meet this person." The other ways are posting frequently on AQ, planting a box I like, or being an affable person.

i figure as long as i'm down under i might as well letterbox and "pop" over to see you. i realize its farther away than a rowboat could do but i'm sure there are jet planes that go ther right?

Events Widget Change

Thread
I've noticed a change in the Events Widget. Now, instead of showing the date and location of the event, it shows the date and time.

I think the date and location format is far more useful when looking at a condensed version of the list. I tend to look for gatherings close instead of looking at events that start at a particular time.

I notice this on my page, I could not see the location, I though it was something I had done by mistake.

It is now better to go to "show all events" instead of clicking each and every one on the event widget to see if they are close to me.

But I'll get use to doing it different. :)
