Hey Mamawolf,
We never did get to figure out how to play that difficult letterbox card game. We had fun trying though it probably works best with more than just two people. Glad to see how you're expanding on all your fine skills.
Perhaps another unique Mamawolf letterbox in the works?

Now that I can laser cut, 3D print, use a CNC, and have every woodworking tool available to me, I think I could make epic boxes now! Lol. But nah. People stopped even hunting mine years ago (I still have unfound boxes out there). Instead I can make things to improve/repair machines or display them at the makerspace to inspire others to use machines or make things.

But the making of things in projects with others during letterboxing did inspire me to continue to make things and learn. It was actually another creative boxer that left the hobby (the same one who made that Letterboxing Card Game) that got me into the new hobbies. So it's been a great journey!

I used to watch carefully for any new Wolf Family carves, so did so many other boxers, wanting to be a first finder. So I could not imagine you having boxes that had not been found. I did a search and found 3 pretty tough, that were beyond my abilities.
But be assured, I for one, have not stopped hunting if I see a Mama Wolf carve anywhere near my travels.

Plants, Busy, and Planting this Weekend
Board: State: North Carolina

We were in the Cary area last month. We planted three boxes in Morrisville on June 25th. Then, on the way home, we planted one box in Burlington on June 27th. Here we are on July 30th, and it occurs to me that I have still not listed the boxes. Yes. That is seriously how busy we have been. While I do not really have time today, my intention is to make time to get these boxes listed. After all, some folks will be heading this way for Strictly Nightboxing 4 soon, so they might want to stop in Burlington to grab that extra box. πŸ˜‰ That said, if anybody does not see our new box in Burlington listed later today or tonight, please feel free to remind me and hold me accountable for getting it posted.

This weekend is when I plan for us to get most of the boxes planted for the event since I will be out of town next weekend, and then the event is the weekend after. Wouldn't you know that my sister-in-law called to tell is that they decided to have our niece's birthday party on Saturday? LOL. No worries. We can do both, right? 🀣

I am so blessed to have such a full life, so I will not complain. Maybe I just need to work letterboxing into my time budget. Ha! Yeah, right. Like I am organized enough to actually have a time budget.

What is everyone else doing this weekend?

New signature stamp... finally

Guys. It finally happened. I carved myself a new signature stamp!

For context, my previous signature stamp I made in 2007. It was the first stamp I ever even attempted to carve, but it turned out cute so I kept it. I also haven't been super active in letterboxing over the years so I just never bothered to change it.

Guess it's time to go stamp into a box somewhere now :)

If you would like to visit the beautiful, historic place that is the Murray's Mill District, nobody has found H or RDHG's box there yet. There are also other single boxes and series there. πŸ™‚

I definitely want to chime in with my HUGE thanks to the Letterboxing Gone Wild crew for such a fantastic event. You made the trip up from Austin totally worthwhile! The props. The themes. The well organized clues. The crocodile pond. So many memorable things. On the plane flight home I spent some quality time looking through all the stamps I had gotten. The artistry and craftsmanship was amazing. I am looking forward to clearing the calendar for next year’s event if at all possible!!!

WHEW - what a WILD adventure! Thanks so much to everyone who carved, came, cooked, cleaned, camped, caravaned, contributed, and collected all the animals/props! I hope you had as much fun as we did!

Now that I'm back home and caught up on sleep, I will be sorting through stamps to return those that were on loan just for the event.

Hope to see many folks down my way in Georgia for Quite Contrary's READY, SET, GO! event in November and of course at other events this fall/winter!

I think this was a table top. Its a brown sloth that looks like it was probably done by a child. (sorry if it wasn't) I wrote down Sloth by Drama Kitty but DK doesn't have an AQ account. Any help would be appreciated.
