There is a bunch of us in the Raleigh area. I think most, if not all of us will be at Geek Fest.

Thanks, Dixie! Maybe you will be First Finder. πŸ’› We are heading to grab some boxes around Mooresville today because it will be even colder tomorrow. If you want, send me a message if you are in town.

I’ll be boxing in Mooresville tomorrow. I hope there are some left after the new one! I’m still boxing and just 3 away from 1000!

Ooh, it would be neat for our Happy Birthday box to be your 1,000th! Congratulations on reaching that goal tomorrow!

Between Petunia and Exp626 there are four boxes downtown. There are others, too. What time are you planning to be in Mooresville? Maybe we can connect.
Congratulations, Belmont Bunch!

I'm around but now I live in Fort Mill, South Carolina. I am 4 minutes from the Greenway. :) I haven't been boxing much at all. I had a rather unsavory boxing experience some time ago with someone who belittled me the entire time; from how many finds I had to how I kept my logbook. Not fun and left me feeling gross for lack of a better expression.

If anyone wants to come down (or up) and box the Greenway, let me know! I still have a couple of Letterboxing Nationwide states to find.

I would like to extend the invitation to my fellow letterboxers to join the guys and me in the much needed activity of planting letterboxes though the Mooresville, NC, area (mainly because we need some local boxes to find).

😁 Hehe. 🀣

So we started planting days here in central texas! We all plan a day, prep the stamps, spend the morning planting. We had lunch together and then went out to find.

Our next one, we voted for a double day. We'll spend all the first day planting and have dinner together. second day is for finding...

Maybe you could get some locals together to follow a similar format...

By the way, I saw your request for stamps for a homeschooling event...

I'm doing a stamp carving workshop and intro to letterboxing for our local homeschool community on March 13th! I'll be leading the carving and a friend of mine is going to lead the groups in finding letterboxes and educating...

We potentially have two families coming over Sunday to learn about letterboxing, and one of them has already decided that they definitely want to play. πŸ‘

This is an out there question, maybe, but does anybody in that part of the state have an efficient mapping of the boxes there? I am thinking that I might head that way for a couple of days to do some boxing for my birthday. If I do, I would like to be able to find as many boxes as I can without driving back and forth across that part of the state because I do not know where I am going. Haha. Thank you for any help.

Also, if anybody would like to box with me, the company would be welcomed!

That sounds like me in St. Louis. I use a GPS and it puts them in order :) but I have to choose them & type them all in first. :(

Thanks! I agree with that. The challenge is that Google Maps limits the number of places that I can enter. Do you use a different program?

I just have an old Garmin GPS on my dash board. I wouldn't be able to find anything without it, although it has been known to direct me into a cornfield now and then.

Sure wish I was in your area. I'd love to have someone to letterbox with.

What is Google's limit? For this type of stuff, I revert to MapQuest. There are websites devoted to doing just this (findthebestroute.com is one but you are limited to 20 locations for the free version).
