Hi Iowa boxers!!
My son (Kevin Mouse) is doing a project about Iowa and I was wondering if a few of you Iowa boxers could help him out by sending him a postcard or some tourist-y type of info about your state! We don't know anyone there!
If you could help him out with his project please AQ me and I'll send you our address. If you are able to send some tourist maps/books I will pay postage!
Thanks!

If you want to have it sent directly, and at my expense (being a taxpayer), use this link and order whatever you want.

OK, so I could never seem to get my poop-in-a-group last year . . . My Easter Series (Holy Week) is finally re-planted!! I'll leave it in place for a few weeks, so anyone that happens to have time to stop in town, I hope you'll make time to swing by West Des Moines.

Also, my Kids wanted to carve and expand the series, so check back before you hit the trail!

Enjoy =)

Dear Iowa Boxer's,

The Kindly Vikings are invading Cedar Rapids... well, we're moving here anyway. We are looking forward to boxing on some fresh turf, and meeting some of you.

If you know of some great boxes around Iowa (or nearby states) that we can pillage, please share!

See you on the trails,
TheKindlyVikings

Oh yeah, St. Paul would be an easy weekend trip. Even a day trip, if we were desperate. ;-)

Cedar Rapids? in Iowa? A real letterboxing family? Fantastic!

There are all sorts of boxes scattered from Iowa City down through and around Burlington, and a bit to your west and southwest, not to mention a few sitting in my house waiting for spring. You will not be bored.

A thoughtful letterboxer sent me a pine cone to be planted in Maine as part of the Pine Cone Project. I know her name and address but didn't jot down her trailname. Please pm me so I may give you proper credit as carver when I plant.

Thank you, Teacup

You are welcome, I'm sure. Maude didn't think Maine should be left out of the loop so carved us a pine cone for our very own.
Going from CT to IA!

My husband, our two kids and myself are going out to Iowa in September! I was wondering if there are any letterboxes along I-80, or not too far from it, that are must grabs. Anywhere from Pennsylvania to the Des Moines area of Iowa. We're going about 40 miles west of Des Moines to Stuart.
We will also be going to Winterset to see the new John Wayne Museum!
Thank you to everyone in advance!

Help needed in Iowa City. Box One of "M's Quest" Replanted today (rainy day) and found the 4th tree cut up pretty bad so we put the box under the 3rd tree but it needs to be hidden better with a couple of rocks or something. Could a close by boxer help out please? Let me know if you can.

Thank you

Large Number of New Boxes in Austin, MN
Board: State: Iowa
Jul 11, 2016 8:13pm
If anyone is interested, a substantial number of new letterboxes were just published in the Austin, MN area. That is the far South Central Part of Minnesota, so not that far away from Northern IA. Also, should you choose to get these, we highly recommend the new and improved Spam museum in downtown Austin. It's quite nice. That is all.

aw, shucks ~ Thanks for noticing, Friends.
Twelve years ago, I had no idea how much pleasure I would get from letterboxing, or the places I'd go, or the challenges I'd meet and survive, or even the new skills I'd learn. For me, letterboxing has been a life-changing experience.
