Are you collecting rock n roll events? Best wishes on your run. I had to give it us when a freak fall took out my knee. Cycling now and nearly permanently located in Tucson.

Not collecting Rock n Roll events. Did the one in Virginia Beach because well I live here. Was going to go to Disney in January but we've been there a few times so I used Rock n Roll as my travel guide. We wanted to go somewhere in January and Phoenix had a race going on. We've never been there so we opted to run and tour.

I'm 70 now and I worry about my bones too. Really starting to like the races that I do every other month sort of. After Phoenix it's back home for the Shamrock Half-Marathon in March than on to Indy for the Indy 500 half-marathon in May. Nothing planned after that.

We only have one day (Thursday) planned in Tucson (looks like a two hour drive from Tempe) and will be spending a lot of time touring the boneyard. If you're in town and want to do late lunch or an evening coffee or something let me know.

The monsoons this summer re-routed the Santa Cruz River and made access to this box difficult. New location is a stroll from a new parking location between Tubac and Tumacacori.

As previously posted, BBStacker and Cootie Queen will be visiting Arizona in January. If you are available on January 17th please sign up for the event and come meet them in the Tempe area. When I have a better idea of how many will be coming the exact location will be determined. Wishing all of you a very happy holiday season.

I’m not sure why I didn’t think of this before, but I’m flying into Phoenix this Saturday if anyone wants to meet up or go boxing. I have about 6 hours to kill on Saturday starting around 11am as long as nothing weird goes wrong with my flight. Message me if you’re interested. Thanks!

Disney Cars themed boxes on Route 66
Board: State: Arizona

Thread
Hi everyone! I'm heading to AZ this June (yes, I know it will be hot) and will be traveling Route 66 between Kingman and Holbrook AZ.

Are there any Cars themed boxes on that stretch of road? Also, if I were to plant a Cars series that would take you from Kingman to Holbrook, all drive bys, would they be quick to go missing if I hide them on the side of the road in pull-offs, and then hide in the rocks? I've never planted in AZ, and only found one box so far in AZ, so I'm not used to planting in the desert. Also, we'll see if my family would actually allow me to plant 15 or so boxes on that stretch of road without killing me.....

Thoughts?

I have no input to help you. That said, as a Disney fan and someone fascinated by Route 66, this seems like it would be a neat series for finders!

The first thing you can do is a search of your town. I’d pick a 30 mile radius and see what comes up.
