Having just watched Real Genius and seeing the zucchinis, my brain linked Val Kilmer's famous on top of a mountain surrounded by naked women throwing pickles at him dream. Sigh :)

With apologies to the Statler Brothers:

Counting zucchini on the wall,
Never can eat or count them all.
Writing AQ posts till dawn,
Hiding boxes in my lawn.

Now, don't tell me I've nothing to do.

I'm not counting zucchini but compiling recipes to use up the zucchini. Have enough to make about 6 loaves of bread and still have some leftover.

ps...I realize that it's not the middle of the night right now but I just got home...was a good night :)

Not too late here on West coast - catching up on Big Brother after camping for three days. Hope it stays dry for hunting boxes this weekend. It was gorgeous on the coast these past few days and got a number of boxes we wanted :)

No need to have a reason in here - feel free to ramble away! ;)

And we were afraid of rain this weekend as well, but we got lucky and had only 5 minutes of it Friday night. VERY happy about that, though we came prepared.

We went camping this weekend as well, in Conn. Had a great time at an event and got some of the local boxes as well. Needless to say, a bit tired tonight. ;)

I hope camping was fun. We had a blast, though got FRIED by the sun, even with multiple applications of sunscreen!! Still, we found twenty boxes so that was perfect.

Hope your week is a good one.

You're not alone. Its just that the creatures of the night are good at silence. Turn around quick and you might catch a pair of eyes.

Sweet dreams! ;)

On a side note, 4 days from this moment I'll be waiting to get on a plane for the first time since '89 to go to a place I haven't been since I was 2 to meet someone I've been looking forward to meeting for a few years now. Can't wait!

A photographer goes to a haunted castle determined to get a picture of a ghost on Halloween. The ghost he encounters turns out to be friendly and poses for a snapshot. The happy photographer later downloads his photos and finds that the photos are underexposed and completely blank.

Moral to the story: The spirit is willing, but the flash is weak.

Was just over on the book of face and a memory came up that I was up super early (around 7a) on this date last year and I didn't have to be.

This year I'm up and it's because I have to be. Yuck! Worked late last night and have to go in super early today so no sleep (til Brooklyn!!)

But on the upside, I made a batch of cookies and did all the dishes :)

Glad I'm not the only one. Laundry is in the dryer, dishes are done, but I'm waiting on the bread to come out of the oven so I can go to sleep. It is going to be a rough morning.

Actually not to go...that's how long I've been awake. By all intents and purposes (is that right?? I'm not sure and I honestly don't care all that much at this point) I should be fast asleep since I was exhausted when I left work at 8pm but I seem to have jinxed myself by stopping at the halfway point and having a snack and messing around of my phone in order to be awake enough to continue the drive that I am now wide awake.

Nowadays 4am is either around the time I'm thinking about going to bed, or I'm at work. We weren't able to do much boxing at all this year - I had signed up earlier in the year for an ltc swap I really wanted to be a part or, but never made it to the end. So, good luck, best wishes and do better than I was able to this year! ;)
