Containers Survey

Hi everyone! I have always wondered what people really like to plant in, because everyone plants differently. This will be a survey on which containers you mostly use for most your boxes.
Click...
Agree if you only use Lock n' Locks to plant
Educational if you plant in both Lock n' Locks and other various brands
Interesting if you plant in mostly planters pouches and a few containers
Funny if you plant in other containers and other various things
Thank you!

I plant in black Gorrilla taped pouches. Black blends in well with the shadows and pouches are thin and easy for me to hide..but make sure you use Ziplock brand baggies to make them. The double seal does make a difference. (o:

So far I have only used Lock n' Locks, but I have only hidden five boxes. I plan on using planters pouches and other types later.

Lock n locks mostly, but I just got a cool leaf pattterned ammo can, can't wait to hide it as a letterbox hybrid. The planters pouches don't last long around here.

We have only planted 10 boxes so far but all of them have been in Lock n' Locks.

Lock & Locks OR Lock & Lock knock-offs. Never the old fashioned Rubbermaid style -- they usually leak.

My first 6-8 boxes were various "tupperware-ish" containers but I was never satisfied with them. I have since switched exclusively to L'n'L's but I could see the possibility of using some other type of container in the right situation. Boxes that are well located in a protected spot - under a rock ledge or inside a standing hollow tree - so that they do not get rained on or crushed with large cover rocks, for example. The problem is that unless I KNOW that will be the case ahead of time I will probably already have the box ready for planting in my pack so container choice dictates planting location instead of the other way around.

I used to get these awesome plastic containers from TSA when I was working there. They were for the explosive detection swabs and were just thrown out. They were AWESOME. They just might have been why I stayed for so long! But now I either use LnLs that I find a great sale on or I use planter pouches, whatever gets the specific job done.

Are planters pouches zip lock bags with duct tape wrapped around them? That is what I often use, but they have to be zip lock freezer bags, and sturdy (usually black or forest print) duct tape. :)

That's interesting. Lady Morgannah's profile says she hasn't signed in since July 2011 and she has all those bars, but here she is posting today.
How does that happen??

It's a sub account. She was logged onto the main account and chose a sub-account as the author.

I usually log in with our "Dickens Family" account. When we first started "boxing" we just used the dickens family trail name. Then as more family members became interested, we added sub accounts, like mine, lady morgannah :)
