i'm with slick - Dartmoor would be my first choice. Although, it would be more fun if we could organize a group of people from the boards to all go together. that would be the most fun.

Second? i don't know - down to NC - those people have FUN. . . or TN, they run a close second. Anywhere i go on vacation i go boxing too, so all of my vacations are letterboxing vacations. . .

Dartmoor, anywhere else in England, or New England.

I'd go to the PNW. Clayoquot Sound is on my bucket list, but it's not a hot spot for letterboxes. I'd go there then head south of the 49th until the area got thick with letterboxes for me to find among the redwoods. Then I think I'd just keep heading south to the bay area - lots of famous planters all along that coast.

Stateside I'd want to go to Stone Mountain, GA. That place looks like nirvana.

Worldwide? Dartmoor, natch.

Dartmoor, definitely. Talk about high on the bucket list!

More locally, Stone Mtn and NC both appeal to me, I was fortunate enough to do a boxing weekend in CT a few years ago, but sure wouldn't mind going back there also!

And of course, Live and Breathe 2!!

I forgot to mention that I am waiting for cooler weather before heading there. Too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Spring, preferably, or fall would be my ideal time to go. :) But even still, lots of water.

I'm hoping to go to Hog Heaven in Redding.

From what I remember from last summer's Amazing Race event, Redding is located approximately 1.2 miles from the sun.

Hog Heaven is on my wish list of boxing stops as well. 'Cept it seems I'm always in the neighborhood when it is too hot.

Spring!... there's really and truly even a lake there during the spring. See the proof: http://letterboxing.org/BoxView.php?boxnum=1774&boxname=FunHog_Lake_Plateau

You might also consider nighttime. You need good lighting, to be sure, but once you get that licked you can learn to love the night -- less heat, less traffic, less sunburn, all around better.

I'd go to Littleton, CO where my daughter lives. Could get her boxing. There seem to be a lot of boxes & boxers there & no one in my city. I only know of one other here in Springfield, IL.
