It's been so unbearably hot and humid that we aren't letterboxing, but this this dog has the right idea.

this popped up on Wassa's Widget
(go to the original message in the thread for the video)
what the heck is wrong with the woman?
I guess it's more important to get the video than whatever happens when the dog gets his way.
and it reminded me of this recent entry

I'd be laughing loudly while I was recording the video. I don't know how she kept herself from laughing.
Analyzing it from a purely practical point of view: The dominant dog doesn't appear to be interested in taking the pool inside (at first) but just in keeping it away from the other dog. Why it didn't just lie down in the pool, taking up the whole pool, I don't know.
But once he started dragging it, he appears to not be damaging the pool. After a long time of doing that would ruin the side, but it looks like a cheap pool meant for babies to play in. (And English allows ending a sentence with a preposition.) The woman is getting enough enjoyment out of what the dog is doing that the pool can be replaced from time to time.
The door wasn't open very wide. Knowing basic physics, unless the dog can reach both sides (something for which dogs are not known) and bend the pool to fit through the door, that pool was not going through that door with any (significant) water in it. Besides that dog is just trying to be vindictive (to the other dog) not trying to be smart. (I couldn't find the Beneful commercial that I was looking for.)
At least it was on a tile floor an a pleather couch. If it was removed and sopped up quickly (after snapping the photo) then there would not be significant damage. Though the quicker the better.
Did you see the story that followed, about the lioness trying to get the Simba the child was carrying?
