I love storms, but I am so not looking forward to the tornadoes. I'm terrified of them.

We had our tornadoes last night. Southwest Missouri had a couple as well as northern Arkansas. The bad thing is that at the same time there were tornadoes on the radar, there was an earthquake in northern Arkansas as well! You can always tell spring has sprung when you start getting tornadoes. Still haven't gotten used to them after 19 years.

So far we're just rumbling and wet; I think the red radar stuff is mostly past us but it's heading your way. Stay safe!

nothing going on here. i was going to hike a 6 mile loop for 1 stinkin' box today with my dog down in N GA but the threat of severe storms and wind kept me home...no rain or other weather has happened. tornado watch til 2 pm.

Lucky for us we are just barely getting missed, but Papaw in Knox county needs to be checked on, they have had a few cars in Knoxville totally under water on the roads due to flash flooding.

you could hear the wind coming and then the trees started to move and then the rain came down like a solid wall. After the first deluge, it backed off and just rained hard for a few short hours and was gone. But that leading edge made it seem like it would be a lot worse.

Glad to hear you are okay Papaw! I saw Knoxville on the weather channel. They said it hadn't flooded like that in 12 years, mercy.
