My neice has been sick for a couple of weeks now. My sister took her to the doctor and they diagnosed her with a UTI due to WBC being elevated in her urine. She continued to get worse. Friday she took her to the ER and again they said she had a UTI ~ gave her some medicine and sent her on her way. Saturday, she continued to decline so my sister took her back to the ER. They ran lots of tests and found out that she doesn't have a UTI but has pnemonia. She is allergic to the antibiotics that they usually use to treat this and what they have her on now is not working and she is continuing to decline. She is being transported tonight to Children's Hospital in Dallas. Please remember Savannah tonight in your prayers, she definately needs them right now.

So sorry to hear this. Prayers are with her and the family. I know this has to be very difficult for her parents and aunt.

Praying for comfort and peace for you, her and her family, for knowledge and skill for her doctors and quick recovery. How scary! The first 72 hours will be the hardest, because they will not have any of the culture results back. They will be forced to use antibiotics that cover a wide variety of infections a little instead of antibiotics that cover specific infections a lot. It makes it even more tricky when a person has had an allergic reaction in the past. Lifting you up to our Lord, may you feel his comfort. Momma, dbfamily
