Ever included a photo?

I'm curious as to whether anyone has included a photo in their logbook? Whether it be a paper print out or a real (glossy pic), how do you get it to stick? I tried Gorilla glue on a paper (print out) pic, but it never seemed to dry and the glue bled thru. If I try to include a real photo (glossy) how do I get it to stick?

Anyone ever try just plain ole' package taping a pic?

print it on heavier paper and use it as the cover for your log book
or use a permanent tape/glue runner for scrapbooking

Buy some sticky corners (double sided tape squares) in the photo store. They work really well.

I recently found a box that had a small stack of photos in it. Apparently, a guy found the box by mistake and took it home with him. He contacted the placer, realized his mistake, and replaced the box along with some favourite photos of the area. It was kind of nice. The kids looked at the pics of the waterfowl while I stamped in.

My personal logbook has photos for almost every find that I have. I use a glue stick to attach them to the page I'm working on, but then I'm also putting the pages in "page protectors". Sorta like scrap booking........my way.;}

Check out how photos are mounted into a matted frame. This may work for your purposes.

I kind of scrapbook my pages, like I said, 'kinda.' I take an 8.5" x 11" pieceof paper and fold it in half, use brads to attach the paper I stamped on and put the clues and pictures in the fold of the paper. One piece of paper has a 'find' on each side. Hope that isn't cornfusin'!

I would love to see this Please bring your logbook to the Riverside gathering! I scrapbook mine much more traditionally--I'll bring one to share also :)

My log book is a photo album. I stamp the box image on a 4x6 index card, take a few photos of the trail, the view, my kids, whatever, get them printed at Costco and voila! Each page of my book has 4 spots for a 4x6 photo, one is the index card and three photos. I just found my first hitchiker so I only included two photos and an extra index card for the HH. We'll see what happens when I do one of those series boxes with five or six stamps, haven't figured that out yet but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. :)

I like including photographs. I can see who went with me, record a short journal entry about the day, and it's one more avenue to watch my kids grow before my eyes.

This worked really well and I've received some great feedback on the box. The stamp image without the pic would be just another image. This was one of those moments that you needed to see where it stemmed from. Thank you :-)
