Well he came back from recovery where he chatted with all the nurses there all the time he was in!

Good humor, all systems working, just can't step down on that foot AT ALL fior 7 days and will be on crutches.

Then it will be 7 days more I believe on the crutches. He sees the DPM on Tuesday next week.

Thanks everyone, he was pleased to see those messages yesterday when we got ready to go to dinner!

Thank you all for your prayers. We serve an awesome GOD and his healing presence was there today.

Sandy, Chris and Alex too.

Hooray!!!!!! Alex and our young pup both made it out of surgery today in great shape. Alex should feel even better, however, that he did not get neutered today like our little Zachery did. ;O) Zac also had 6 baby teeth pulled since the adult teeth are already in. You talk about a mouthful of teeth...he had em.

Wishing Alex a speedy recovery and to be out running laps in a few weeks?

Oh, I almost forgot! Don't forget to wrap some extra soft cushy stuff around those crutches or your arm pits will be more sore than your foot ever was!

Love,
Mama Huntin Dog, who remembers being on crutches...shivvvver!

Safari Man!! So glad to hear that you and Gorgette have a new "baby"! I had heard about you losing one of your others "kids" and was so sad for you. Can't wait to hear all about the new puppy! There better be some pictures, too!

We are hoping he is able to come but will still be light weight bearing and using crutches as we calculate. We will see.

Come to think of it...I'm not sure I know where Nurse Rachet comes from...hmmm....I've heard the term and will probably remember as soon as someone explains it, but can't think of it right now.

Nurse Ratchett - wasn't that Louise Fletcher in One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest?

Of Course! We had great sorrow at losing our little Lasha Apso Zoey and needed to get a another doggie to be a companion to Toby Keith, our 4 year old Peekapoo. We found this little Maltipoo and although he has some imperfections he has a great demeanor/personality

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Glad he is recovering well--hopefully the two weeks of enforced immobility will fly by (sounds like the kid deserves a new video game :)) and he will be out boxing with his granny soon!

Oh, how prescious...I take it he isn't quite flying today but hope he is headed like Alex in the right direction!

Such a sweetie. Looks a lot like our old Sergio!!
