Very Grateful Thanks!

Huge grateful thank yous to the The Merry Pranksters, Zess, the Woodland Wanderers... and everyone who contributed to make this weekend such a success. We had a fantastic time and even though I'm now a big itchy mess from all the bug bites, I'm grinning from ear to ear and feeling ever so grateful.
Grateful for to all the brave souls who camped with us despite the threat of rain. We had a blast singing and stamping and drinking "camp coffee" late into the night.
Grateful for the camp rangers who didn't yell at us for being so noisy.
Grateful for the weather Goddess who kept the rain at bay.
Grateful for all the kids who ran around together catching snakes and frogs and entertaining each other as only kids can do.
Grateful for everyone who contributed stamps for the event. We have so many incredibly talented carvers in this group.
Grateful for Pete and Steve who logged all those miles planting these great boxes for us.
Grateful for the amazing location. Such beautiful ponds and trails to explore... extra grateful I didn't step on any snakes.
Grateful for Gollygee's beautiful clue book that she whipped together at the last second... very cool.
Grateful for everyone who brought yummy food to share, and all those who donated great swag for the raffle.
Grateful for Goofy Girl for being brave enough to fly from OK to meet a bunch of crazy strangers she'd met on the internet... gasp.
Grateful for everyone who participated in the Tune in/Toon out LTC swap and who brought LTC's to share.
Grateful for Rhonda's great night boxing stamps and to Zess for planting them, even under difficult circumstances.
Grateful for Deb and Pete who graciously opened their home to a bunch of tired, grimy campers. A perfect way to wind down from a great weekend.
Grateful for the Woodland Wanderers and their delicious pulled pork.
Grateful for pinball machines.
Grateful to come home to a nice hot shower and a comfy bed.
Thanks everyone... we can't wait for next year!

Regarding Muddy Paws grateful thanks,
Grateful for Muddy Paws for expressing everything I felt and more. Can't top their accolades so I will just chime in,
"Agree, agree, agree!!"
Aren't we a lucky bunch to have found each other?

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
I wish I didn't have to work, but as my boss would say:
Be Grateful you have a job, and stop asking for so much time off!
Goofy Girl, I had hoped to have met you very early in the morning Saturday, but had car troubles. Alas, we will cross paths at some point.
There is always next year! I hope!

Maybe next summer when the baby is older, we can come up and have an event somewhere for all to come and meet Baby Goofy, I will make it a US tour for letterboxers to meet the baby. I had gotten so used to the way y'all drove up there that being back home I'm a little confused as to how to drive....LOL
y'all ain't right when it comes to driving... I mean that for SHORE

I want to thank everyone for a most wonderful weekend. I could not say it any better than Muddy Paws, so I wish to say ditto to their post. Having a beautiful area with great trails and super stamps and series is such a treat. But the best part was the people. What a wonderful group of boxers. It was just great meeting friends from last year again and meeting so many new ones.
I'm feeling really great today. However you aren't going to believe this, but we found a tick enbedded (sp?) in Bob's chest this morning. We can't get it out, so he has to go into the doctor's at 1:30 today. Man, I really hate ticks.
Thanks for all the hard work that went into putting this Event together. It's overwhelming all that you did for our enjoyment. Sunday brunch was delicious and fun. And the clue booklets were amazing - thanks Gollygee.

I could not have said it any better. GRATEFUL truely sums it up. I was also able to expand my circle of friends a bit and look forward to seeing many of you again. Thanks to everyone, but especially to the hosts (and doubly so for The Pranksters for having us over to the house.)

Here - Here,
Thanks to all indeed! We had such a fun time with you all. We considered it an absolute privilege to spend time with such a wonderful group.
Grateful for Pete and Steve who logged all those miles planting these great boxes for us.
It was all Steve - the man's a crazy boxing lunatic! He's like the energizer Rabbit with hiking shoes!!!!!!
Although Pete is exaggerating the boxing comment, I had to run constantly to keep up with him! He's right about the lunatic part though : )
There really is so much to be thankful for, but without all the people that came to share and enjoy it would have been just another day. So thank you to all of you that should up and enriched our lives by simply being there. We enjoyed your company, and the chance to get to know some truly amazing people.
Thank you,
Steve - WW's

Holy cow, Mrs. Paws! You are thorough!! Indeed, you covered so much for which I am also grateful. All of it. In addition, I'm grateful for you, and the freakish bond we have. And, I’m
Grateful that I only have about 20 mosquito bites on my whole body, as opposed to about 40 on each foot (and then more across the body) as Mrs. Paws has suffered. (My greatest sympathy to you.)
Grateful that one of the first things that happened when we set foot on our campsite was that HarmonyMA found a penny and made a wish that the rain would stay away, effectively counteracting the Muddy Paws rain demon. Now, Paws, your camping rain curse has been broken. Go, and camp in peace.
Grateful especially that the storm not 15 miles away from us, with lightening/thunder, torrential rain, and hail!), only taunted us with far-away thunder, while the sun shined on us.
Grateful for the amazing community that developed immediately upon arriving at the campsite. The kids congregated in the street to play ball, while the adults chatted or set up or did whatever, comfortable in the children's safety. They were able to run from site to site with the kind of freedom I had as a child living on a street with lots of kids. All the parents watching out for all the kids. That was cool.
Grateful most especially to LiaJea for noticing my daughter was shy, and helping to pull her in to the group.
Grateful for the Woodland Wanderers for their extensive and sincerely offered help with EVERYTHING, and graciously accepted that few people knew about this and so didn’t identify them in appreciation remarks.
Grateful for the hugs I got from Siamese…which reminded me of what it felt like to be hugged by my mother.
Grateful for the flexibility of my husband and our campsite-mate, HarmonyMA, for their joyful flexibility and roll-with-it-iveness.
Grateful for Grateful Row…our neighborhood street in the campground.
Grateful for the return of Oldhounder & Siamese from down south.
Grateful for the millions of smiles I saw over the weekend.
Grateful for lots of firewood.
Grateful for coffee cups that serve both morning and night.
Grateful for Sahalie feeling well enough to travel to our gathering.
Grateful for Kit Kat and Rodger (friend of Lionheart) for letting me off the hook re: playing my guitar w/out practicing.
Grateful for all the usual cast of characters who have become my friends (you know who you are), and for all the new friendships I made at this event.
Grateful for the way things worked out in their lives to allow Hands & Silva Foot Family to come join the festivities.
Grateful for Katrina & Nancy for helping me drop the night boxes…going around that loop over and over and over b/c we kept having more boxes in our hands when we finished a loop.
Grateful for all the night boxers for their patience in the face of my phone call from reality that was just WRONG.
(Grateful for everyone who helped me feel my anger and then let it go and settle back in to the magic world.)
Grateful for the pond, that allowed our family to take our maiden voyage in our new canoe, and to do it at an event we will never forget.
Grateful for Hands On Fun – Family for the MO. ☺ (I really need that recipe!)
Grateful for StarWars Chick for coming up Friday with her son to box with us, despite being unable to do the rest of the event.
Grateful for the awesome tunes that lifted me even higher when I lingered within earshot.
Ok…so many more people & so much more from this event to be grateful for, but I have to stop. And for that, we can all be grateful.
