Mannn...now I'm really wishing i could come to this one! Our Girl Scout troop is having it's last (?) big fling at Great Bear Lodge that weekend! Please camp for me, someone, and roast a marshmallow or two, tell a story, sing a song (off key just a bit if you please), and by all means find loads and loads of boxes for me, too!

Mama Hustlin to get interims(yes, it's that time again)done&still get a postal out on time Dog

Quote burnt is the way to go.

When I taught 8th graders, another teacher and I took a group of kids to the high ropes course. We planned to eat dinner there. Hotdogs on the grill, chips, s'mores...
Well...the other teacher had frozen the hotdogs and then put them in a cooler with ice before school. But they were still frozen when dinner rolled around. The kids thought the hotdogs would thaw out faster if they cooked them closer to (read: in) the fire.
Have you ever had blackened hotdogcicle before? :P
(But the s'mores were great!)

Electric stoves are no good for that either.

no, but in a pinch you can microwave the marshamallows. they don't get "charcoally", but they do work for s'mores.

curious to know if anyone has tried the s'mores w/ chocolate marshamllows?
