I did some digging online, and it appears to be a problem with Firefox. I am using version 2.0.0.5 (Firefox Portable on a USB drive). It appears to only happen on some sites. I found the article explaining the bug here, but couldn't find the header tags in AQ that they talked about.

I ended up installing the Restore Scroll Position extension, which is working beautifully. So if anyone else has the same problem...

I found the Restore Scroll Position extension for Firefox at the bottom of this page. I installed the beta version.

I wouldn't mind seeing the "educational" button turn into something else. That's always seemed like an unnecessary one to me.
