I just listed six boxes, An Excellent Day in the Cohutta Wilderness on Thursday and the first in the series has already gone missing. And I know it's missing because Brook and I checked on it today. I didn't get a chance to check on the others. They don't depend on the first box, you can find them without it but man, not even listed a week. I will be replacing it soon. And I made a minor change to the clues so be sure and reprint. I'm going to go sulk now. (And cross post to LbSE.)

Perhaps the saboteurs are called forest RANGERS! You may have clued them in with the word COHUTTA in the clues. I'd take out any direct referrence, or make it cryptic or coded so the location can't be googled very easily. Just a suggestion!

Possibly, but not so likely in Georgia yet. If they were planted in NC, it'd be a different story unfortunately. :-(

Sorry about the bad luck, Judith.

I did read that the forest service has prohibited geocaching in designated wilderness areas... but not in national forests (as yet).

sorry, can't find my source right now!
