Check the letterboxing.org for more Biltmore boxes!

I live in the western part of Buncombe County (over the mountain from Candler ;-)) - feel free to AQ mail me privately, and I can give some directions!

There are presently a total of twelve LBs planted at Biltmore Estate by Mountain Scorpia--with their permission, no less. The boxes are listed at LbNA.

If you're catching the train in Dillsboro and you have time, you should check out Dixie's Dillsboro Dilly-Dally. Even better than that though would be to take the time to do Dixie's Sylva Graves series.

Aw, heck, any of Dixie's boxes are great. :-)

there are several LBs in Asheville.
do search.
the Wesser Lb you mention is not anywhere close to Asheville.
if you are in the area where Wesser is located...there are others also :)

there are at least a couple in this same park ...

Oh, those are all very good recommendations by Dixie! And I would definitely contact Little Foxes for directions to anything.

There's some really nice, helpful 'boxers up in the area you are heading to! :) There's a whole lot of wonderful boxes up there!

If you are touring Biltmore, the chances of doing that and getting in all the boxes at Biltmore in one day is not likely. There a Legerdemaine box at Biltmore (listed on LbNA in the Biltmore series of boxes). It's a lovely but long hike. Personally, between the hike and the house tour, I much preferred the rather isolated hike (over hills, streams, old orchard, and to an old brick bridge) to the boxes Cornelia, America's Castle, and Toe Cooler... but that's just me. ;)
