Actually in Va. (Alexandria at least) they are teaching it in 8th grade!!!

My granddaughter is learning it in the 3rd grade, which is, if memory serves, just about the same time as in the past generations. But then UT has long been noted for being behind in many areas.

i Have 3 kids they are 20, 17, & 15
Only the oldest was taught cursive. The younger two print everything. Drives me crazy. I always leave them notes in cursive forgetting they don’t know it.

I can write a note the office concerning the child carrying it (nothing bad) and they can't read it b/c it's a secret code!
