We will be traveling from NY to Pa sometime this Summer on Route 80…Can anyone recommend an area to stop at with many letterboxes nearby?
Trying to make the most of our letter boxing overnighter. Thanks so much for any suggestions.

If you are looking to do some hiking along the way, there are a couple good hiking areas in the Parsippany/Boonton areas. This is where Rt 80 crosses Rt 287. If you are looking for drivebys, some of the rest areas west of Rt 287 may have boxes. If you have an iPhone or iPad, check Clue Tracker.

The Dunnfield Creek Natural Area at the Delaware Water Gap is a great place to stop and stretch your legs and grab a few easy boxes. Some more difficult boxes can be found along the way up to Mt. Tammany.
Although not in N.J. The area around Tannersville PA and Big Pocono State Park can also prove to be fruitful.
