printing out several clues to an area

I am heading out to an area for a long weekend to do some boxing. I want to print several clues at once to maximize my use of paper. Is there a way to pick several boxes and hit print and have them all print out at once time? If so can someone please give this tech challenged boxer detailed directions?
Thanks!!

Yes, when you run a search you're presented with a list of letterboxes. Click the little box to the left of each one that you want to print clues for. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the Print Clues icon.

The next page gives you a series of options at the top, so you can select one clue per page (or not), single-column layout (or not), allow split clues between pages (or not), etc.

Hope this helps.

I tend to copy and paste into a word document, format the way I like them, and then print out the lot of them at once. The control freak rules.

Unless the clues are unusually long or complicated, I just bring them up on my phone and do a screen capture. No paper use at all and they are always with me.

You could do both and still save paper. What I mean is that you copy & paste them into a document then transfer them to your phone. If there are any pictures then you copy those separately.

I did this years ago when palm pilots were the thing to have. However, when I got to the trailhead I found that I had forgotten to charge it. My GPSr still had batteries that were working so I went geocaching instead; not as interesting but it still gave me a place to hike while I was there. I'll have to get those boxes next time I'm on the other side of the mountain.

If you have the time you can cut and paste to a word doc. and eliminate wordage that is not necessary to the clue such as historic info, personal experiences, etc. This can save a lot of paper, ink and reading.

I actually like all that extra stuff - I feel like we can get to know the planter better, and gain some knowledge, sometimes to the point of doing a little extra research on our own of the area/subject matter.

I agree, but I also will cut it out when printing. I can read non-clue extras online. Of course, you'd better make sure there aren't any clues hidden in that 'extra stuff'! :)

...Or hidden information about a bonus box! Did that one time! Realized my mistake after I had returned home and was re-reading the clue before logging my find.

I usually read the historical & personal comments out loud while we are en route so it is all fresh in our minds. A lot of times I will sketch out map routes, how to get to the next box, personal observations, bonus box or hitchhiker found etc. on the sheet. I find this is really helpful when I log the finds later on the computer. I also keep the printed out clues afterwards in a binder. It's great as a reference if someone asks me about a box.
