They ended on another cliffhanger. I didn't know if they were going to have a third season, especially since the second season almost didn't get made. However, that final scene makes it almost certain that they'll make a third season. Well, that or they'll have a LOT of angry fans.

There had BETTER be a season three. Why do they keep canceling really good shows and keeping junk?

Because more people prefer junk. It comes down to number of viewers.

Plus I suspect costs.

It is easy to make a sitcom since you almost never have to change scenes or redesign sets. Better shows to me tend to be the "more complex" ones so they have to really do well to justify the expense.

Yeah, but how do they judge the viewers? I sometimes can't watch right away and end up watching on Hulu the next day. I also don't have cable so I watch over an antenna, So do I count? Networks need to change with the times.

Nielsen.

And if you are not approached by them to be in the program, no, you don't actually count.

Back when I did it about 20 years ago only live watching counted since they hard wired a tracking box into my television. But that was before the streaming internet option so I suspect they have updated the ratings system to include that.
