My "dream" event . . .

So, as we are four months out from our Sleepy Hollow event and I am scouring the internet for awesome props and ideas. Naturally, my imagination began to wonder . . . what would my ideal-grandiose-dream event look like . . .

It would be a 1920’s style Murder on the Oriental Express.

Everyone would have to dress in flapper/gangster/1920’s men’s pantaloons or tuxedos and gowns with feathers in their hairs.

It would be set in a train dining hall or some Victorian ornate dining room. A delicious four course dinner would be served, and just as dessert was coming to a close the lights would go out and there were would a shot in the dark, sounds of ruffling, and a woman screaming.

Then when the lights came on, there would be Monsieur Ratchette- dead and the event would begin! Or some villainous bastard. And it, of course, would not end the way it does in the book or movies. Naturally, it would be the butler! ;o) Or the mistress . . . or the wronged wife . . . or the jilted lover. Or . . .

Oh to dream!

But either way, Sleepy Hollow is going to be most excellent. We have never done this "style" of event before so, I am very excited.
