I just read about the meteor/earthquake in southern MI Yahoo. Did anyone see/hear it?

I saw the flash of light but didn’t feel it. Was driving at the time. We didn’t know what it was when we saw it.

That would have been cool. I did get to see a couple video shots. One guy said he saw a ball of light with a fire tail and actually felt it.

I saw a bunch of amber glowing lights as I was returning home one night just before dark. It was toward the airport, so I though it was maybe some military thing. I stopped and asked a guy who was raking leaves what it was and he pulled out his phone to try to get a picture. By the time I got home 3 doors down, they were gone. I never found out what they were. I thought maybe a night balloon event, but I don't think the lights would have been steady. There were about 5-8 lights.

I heard and felt the boom, didn't see the light. I thought something exploded outside of my house or hit the house. It was pretty wild! They said it registered as a 2.0 earthquake.

There is a fragment of it at the Sloan Museum or the Longway Planetarium in Flint. A friend took a photo during his recent trip there.
