I'm not much of a stamp carver, and my jack-o'-lantern reflects that! Carving the pumpkin got me thinking, though: do people who like to carve stamps also like to carve jack-o'-lanterns? If so, please share your pictures! :^)

I wasn't in the mood to carve anything this year, but I drew the image for my daughter's pumpkin, and she carved it. She's a pretty good stamp carver, age 9.

Yep! She's done quite a few stamp carvings, so it was interesting how she automatically figured out that the little carving saws, can be used to shave and shape, and not just saw. It took her 2 hours to do.

I like to do the simple carving right on the outside of the flesh. I don't like emptying out the pumpkin and going crazy with ol big knife worrying if I'm going to end up in the hospital.

At the time I got that license plate, the Star Trek universe only allowed Warp 7. I have no idea what it's up to in 2014.
