Did I miss something? Were all the "ice cream" stamps from the previous event just ice cream cones and bowls of ice cream (circular blobs)? I assumed people made the stamps special to their ice cream site -- carving the logo for the ice cream place, some fond memory from the place, a special ode to a unique flavor/sundae, a memorial to the elderly couple that ran the soda fountain, etc.

Idea isn't gone. Thought if the time frame was farther off that more people may see event listed and join, give them ample time to carve etc.

This thread should already have several trackers started. Somebody start a pizza one for 3/14, somebody start a bunny one for Easter, one for BBQ in July, one for horses, one for leprachauns... All good ideas, why pick just one?

As for me, I am working on several things, but I could be ready by PAL day, which is May something...

The Easter Bunny one would be good for the weekend of Easter, or maybe the weekend before?

I would be happy to host a gnomes day on 6/21 - international gnome day and the summer solstice if you want to host the leprechaun day in March!! I can't plant in March but I can in June!

How do we host these, anyway? Like PAL Day, just make a tracker so people will have a reminder, and then just see if people plant them? Is it considered a virtual event?

I don't want to list any of the above, as they are not my ideas, but I'm more than happy to host either New Beer's Eve on April 6th (celebrates the end of prohibition) or World Book Day on April 23rd if there's any interest in them.

Nope, here was mine, but it went missing pretty quick.....darn it....oh, as did my donut day one, it never left the house, but was ready to go, then disappeared some where, never have found it, but have looked quite a bit....darn again....

lol -- that was my next suggestion. Plant at your favorite Mexican/Tex Mex restaurants to commemorate mole (mole-ehh) sauce and guacamole :)
