I am planning to go out boxing on Sunday and am torn between Washington Crossing State park and Tyler state park....

For anyone who has been to them.... Do you have any info that could help me make up my mind? What would your pick be?

Personally, I like Tyler the best. And if you have never been there, there is plenty of boxes to find. The park is much easier to navigate than Washington's Crossing and free parking everywhere. Maps are available and it is all contained in one place. Washington's Crossing is a bit more difficult to get around in. I am also biased, as Tyler was my stomping grounds for many years, even before boxes were planted. Either way, have a great time and enjoy which ever park you go to; they both have a lot to offer in a variety of ways.

My vote is for Washington Crossing (Jersey side). I've found that the trails at Tyler are usually much more crowded than at W.C.S.P.
No fee for parking during this time of year, Great boxes, Historical location, all reasons Washington Crossing is my first pick.

Wow... I forgot that it was split... half PA and half NJ. If I pick a Washington Crossing, do I have to pick a state too? Lol

Most of the boxes are on the NJ side of Washington Crossing (there were a few gatherings held there.)

Though ironically, prior to the more recent gatherings, most of the boxes were on the PA side. I wonder if any of those still exist....

Tyler has easier 'walking' trails. Washington Crossing (NJ) more diverse 'hiking' trails. If you are on the Joisey side, I highly recommend Cyclonic's fairy series - the most eevil there.

Choose your choice, the other will always be there for next time.

Both have some good boxes but Tyler has Isaac's ' for a post boxing brew or two. Used to be a box right outside but I think it is gone.

To give them their due, it is an extremely fun series. But you gotta be prepared to spend the time.

W.C.S.P. is awesome...go there!!!

I need to get back there and finish them, as we did run out of time.

Thanks for all your input! I ended up at WCSP. It was great! Even though I got a late start, I still ended up with my most finds in a day, 29! And there are still lots to go back and get. I got a lot of great boxes... I loved the sugar skull series. I started with the Greek mythological creatures and Olympians... so when I got done with that series, I didn't think there'd be enough time for the Faries. But you all have piqued my interest.... So I'll be back soon!

Any Tyler's waiting too! So much to do..... So Little time! :( Lol

I saw Schach but didn't have time to figure it out yet.... I did recognize where all the garbled letters and numbers come from. I'm hoping that that is half the battle. :)
