The Cape is my favorite place in the world to go letterboxing, and I would love to attend an event there - next summer! I have to work all weekend, but with a little more advance notice, would be thrilled for the opportunity. Also, would love to meet the great Cape carvers whose stamps I've found over the years - and say thank you!

Well, I got a note from Chou saying they will come anyway. So, we are suddenly off to Edward Gorey House, to arrive by 12:30 pm. Anyone who wants to join may come. Like i said, I didn't even pack any stamps. But I do have Doubtful. There are Gorey stamps in the area, and I will tell Gorey fortunes with the Fantod deck.

I will still plan a Gorey event next summer, probably late August or Labor Day. Send me an AQ email and I will reply with my cell number.

We won't make it today. I figured you wouldn't be going by the posts so we are heading to the Agricultural Fair in Truro. Have fun everyone & see you next year at the Edward Gorey event!

As you can see, we haven't really been reading these boards much! Luckily, I had the Letterboxing Cape Cod group from LBNA, and did get in touch with Scarab, and Choi, Katia, and three of the four Travelers 4 met up with some lovely Doubtful Guests. We thoroughly enjoyed the treasure hunt at the Gorey House, then had a wonderful lunch where we exchanged some ideas for future boxes! We are planning to plant before the Cape event next month :) YEAH to Scarab and NightOwl and the Doubtful Guest clan for sending out the invite! It was a wonderful time!

Sorry we missed you Mumma - we had talked about doing this when we bumped into you last September, but now we'll clearly PLAN for next year :) Chunna, why are you always busy in the harbor? Geez, you are such a slacker ;) And Tigs, don't you have a teleporter yet? LOL

Happy autumn, and happy Cape boxing days . . . even if I did get bitten by a deer tick here in July and have been sick ever since!!!! Still the best place on earth!

.so glad you all had fun!! can't wait to get out that way again. no, no teleporter - but wouldn't that make travel fun???? (at least between the boxes. i kinda like the hiking to the boxes part).
