I forgot to include the explanation for Elegy. This one one of numerous Twilight Zone episodes about space. Three astronauts go to a planet like earth with only one living person. Come to find out he is the caretaker for their afterlife. That rhis was appropriate with the annual Twight Zone marathon New Year's weekend.

Grateful Camping 2019!!

Thread Board
Hello Grateful Friends!! The time has come to book your campsite for the Grateful Letterboxers' 13th Annual Event, U.S. Blues - #13: It Ain't no Luck, We Learned to Duck! The frolicking begins on 7/7 with the full-weekers. Most people will be there the weekend of 7/15-17, so plan accordingly! You will be in for a treat of sunshine, daydreams, twirling, and general gleefulness! And, make it an even more magical experience by camping! Check it out here: Harold Parker camping. I believe fees are still $17 (MA residents) to $20 per night for individual sites (max = 4 people and 2 cars). I have reserved the Group site for Fri-Sun (that’s Friday and Saturday nights; more on that later, but fees are $10 per tent per night). The individual sites are already starting to fill up, so don't delay! In case you don't know, the central location, Grateful Row, is situated on the little road with sites 301-307. (When reserving a site, you’ll find the sites close to the Row in the loop that include the Group site.)

It is my honor to manage the Grateful Campers Address List every year. This list will be posted on the AQ event page, and it will be on the bulletin board on Grateful Row during the event. If you would like to be included in this most excellent resource, please send to me your campsite info. I need this info:

1. Site number
2. Trailnames of everyone who will be staying on the site
3. Timeframe you plan to be there (e.g., Thurs-Sun, which means Thurs/Fri/Sat nights)

I hope this reminder makes you warm on the inside, especially if you are among us who are cold on the outside! Brrrrr.

For those of you who have boxes at Bonnie Springs, it’s been sold to a developer. He plans to build 20 homes and a motel while “keeping the land as natural as possible” but no plans have been released to show which boxes will be in peril. I assume all of them. Destruction should start in March once all the animals have found new homes. I’ll get your boxes for you if you’re not a local. 😞 Lemme know.

This was a good one. Not a Dr Who fan so I’m still sticking with the Virgin River because of Virgin Galactic. Thanks for the fun!

I thought it had something to do with the Virgin River in UT, too. Because - well, it's a pretty unusual name. 8~P

Thanks so much to CoffeeSpoons for a great event at the Tewksbury Library today! A nice low key get together in a warm and cozy spot on a chilly day!
It was great to see old friends and the stamps were just beautiful. A great opportunity to see new boxers learn about our hobby! CoffeeSpoons put together a wonderful clue book and her presentation was fun and full of great information. Thanks again for all the fun!

1. A River in Utah. - This was a rather tricky clue based on Doctor Who. River Song in an episode is to kill the Doctor wearing a spacesuit in a lake in Utah. Lake Silencio. Ergo a river in Utah.

That's why I guessed Matt Smith. I went with the celebrity, when I should have gone with the prop!

Rolladex icon?

I received AQ mail this morning, and a new (to me) icon appeared next to the person’s trailname next to the others. At first quick glance I thought it was the baby buggie (new user) which wouldn’t make sense (long time user) but as I looked closer, it looked like a rolladex (to me). I clicked on the icon to see what it was, and it promptly disappeared. I checked the icon listing, and it’s not on there. What was that?

Thank you and all of the Tewksbury Library staff for allowing us to play inside on a chilly day.
I wondered what the regular library patrons thought of our curious activity.

To the new boxers, Welcome.
This is just the beginning of the fun you have to look forward to as you play the game.

That is correct, but now that Warrior Woman pointed it out, I realized it's showing the wrong icon. The rolodex by itself is supposed to be a link to all of your contacts. It's supposed to have a rolodex with a "plus" sign on it that adds someone to your contacts.

So I fixed that bug. Good catch, WW! Even if you weren't looking for it! ;o)

our family went though TrappedEscapeRoom.com in Upland yesterday and really enjoyed it. It was like solving 20 letterbox clues in one hour and of course being reminded that the poison gas would be released if we failed added to the suspense..... well sorry to be a spoiler but the gas never went off...……………...because we escaped! couldn't have made it without Bumblebeebunny, the mad boxer, arangutang and pottamiss
