Ooooo. Another reason to visit the west coast again!

Figured I'd try out the new, shiny feature! I doubt letterboxers would need that spoiler - it's more of an extra precaution if new boxers get funneled to the clue through the venue and lack certain common knowledge ;)

Should be quite a few boxes just outside the NW corner of the park. From an event MrOspital had there a few years back. I could do a meet and greet on a weekend except 1st weekend in February. We are about 75 miles NW of the park in Apple Valley.

Hi Everyone! I just saw a story on the news about how the debris flow came through the Ennisbrook preserve and I realized at that moment that there are letterboxes in there, including my 'Ode to Atlas Quest' letterbox. The Bucket Brigade is still working to clean up the preserve so if you print out those clues to find them, please put them in the back of your clue stack for another time. I will keep you all updated when the area is open again.
I believe it is just the Critters of Ennisbrook with a cuckoo to find (on letterboxing.org) and Ode to Atlas Quest that are in there.

I only found three of the "Critters" but that was a fun day. Hard to believe that was 5 years ago. There is also another AQ box there called "California Dreamin".

our family went though TrappedEscapeRoom.com in Upland yesterday and really enjoyed it. It was like solving 20 letterbox clues in one hour and of course being reminded that the poison gas would be released if we failed added to the suspense..... well sorry to be a spoiler but the gas never went off...……………...because we escaped! couldn't have made it without Bumblebeebunny, the mad boxer, arangutang and pottamiss

I would really love to do an Escape Room with other letterboxers. You guys who do them all the time, do you try to beat your time now? I am reminded of the Big Bang Theory episode and the guy says to them, no money refunded if you escape too early!! LOL

Each room has a different quantity, density, and difficulty of puzzles, so there's not really a sort of consistency to be able to beat past times... But my team does usually attempt to come close to or beat the record for fastest time in each room we play!

He has 3 different rooms at his Upland location, and 2 at the San Dimas location. We are trying Grandma's Surprise this Saturday.
