Let’s see if it works. Testing 1, 2, 3. ETA: Hmm, not sure I got it. I used both brackets, </spoiler> and [/spoiler]. What am I not doing right?

What am I not doing right? Try clicking that 'refresh' button on your browser. I updated the CSS code, but if your browser is using the old version, you won't see anything. Eventually your browser will pick up the new version, but I set up AQ so it on...

That's pretty cool, and easier to see my current sign ups. Not a Michiganer here but I do have a few AQ tricks up my sleeve also. For instance, in order to see my event sign ups, I just created a search for them and then saved it, calling it "My Upcom...

Once I know where I am going, I search the area. For example, when I do a search of Indianapolis, Indiana, letterboxes come up in a variety of ways and I adapt them to make finding them easier. I have been doing this for years and loving it. It is ama...

Janila, Welcome to our AQ conversation! I'm interested in learning more about how you do this. How do you actually create the search for them? I've saved several searches I've done by states, but not events. Do you do this under Advanced Search? Thanks!

Janila, you are a letterboxer after my own heart :). I do the same thing. My husband and I are often dreaming about the next trip we are going to take, so I begin customizing addresses already at that time. I've found many boxes I wouldn't have found i...

So as a test one could show Ryan's alter ego to see if the spoiler aspect hides the info for those who don't want to know. https://goo.gl/images/577at4 .

Hmm...I am not seeing a second click option to the link. Failed test?

Do you do this under Advanced Search? Yes. Then on the Search Type in the upper right, choose Events (listed under Miscellaneous). Then there's a check box for events you're signed up for.

Hmm...I am not seeing a second click option to the link. Failed test? Well... yes and no. Just hovering a mouse cursor over the spoiler is enough to get it to show. Since things like smartphones don't have a mouse, you can tap it (or with a keyboard, m...

I should also point out.... The spoiler tag is something that's embedded into the wiki/html markups, so it actually works anywhere you can type in wiki/html markup. Including AQ mail and clues.... Just sayin'.... ;o) Although there are caveats about...

Do you do this under Advanced Search? Yes, Advanced Search, change the search type to Events, check off "Include only events that I'm signed up for" and "Include only upcoming events". Set Sort Order to Start Date. Voila! Did I mention that I LOVE s...

Wow! Very cool. Thanks Ryan. Also I can see that it will open up some very interesting possibilities for clues. Hmm... So as a test one could show Ryan's alter ego to see if the spoiler aspect hides the info for those who don't want to know. Yeah, th...

Oh, I was lucky to read the Burgemeister poem just in time for it to be deleted. Very funny with the link--but it-just-disappeared. I'd love a copy AQ'd to me if possible, can't remember who wrote it.

Over in this thread (https://www.atlasquest.com/boards/messages.php?startId=968961;threadId=140760) there was talk of the pebble texture on the back of Tan-Z and how it could be removed so both sides were usable for carving. There was also the sugges...

My annual Christmas movie plug: Every Xmas my grandfather would sit us down and make us watch "I Remember Mama". It is not Xmas movie. It is a movie about a Norwegian family who lives in the early 1900s in San Francisco. And it is, in my opinion the p...

I've tried several times to log an unlisted traditional attempt today and each time, it records it as a find. At first, I thought I didn't check the box for attempt, but I removed the find and tried two more times to log it...no luck. The unlisted bo...

Thanks for fixing the bug! I appreciate it. As for the capitalization, that makes sense, but I really did think I was the first to log this particular box. I'll keep your suggestions in mind going forward! Thanks!

I really did think I was the first to log this particular box. Hmm.... I took a look at the code, and you might be right. It looks like I mis-remembered how the code works where AQ automatically capitalizes the first letter of each word. The rest of...
