Well, I spoke too soon. WavesandWaterfalls was able to get over there today and replace the stamp herself. Hurrah, she's on the mend.

I was happy to. I was able to do the November one for her, and would have done December if she'd needed. Fortunately she's on the mend, and didn't need it. I'm sure that, had the situation been reversed, she would have done the same for me. It's the great thing about pretty much all the letterboxers I've met, that sense of community.
Help needed to identify stamps

Hi everyone! I am an Illinois boxer who traveled to Oregon in August, and apparently forgot to record a handful of boxes I found. Not only did I not record them, but I didn't write down the location or name of the boxes in my log book either. I was wondering if any Oregon boxers could perhaps help me identify them so I can record them. My thought is that they were found in either Newport, Corvallis, or Eugene. If anyone is willing to help, I can privately share those images via message! Thanks so much!

Welcome to Camp Aint-Gotta-Clue!

Camp Aint-Gotta-Clue is located in good ole Lassen County, where we have the forest in HD!!!

This is a good ole fashion camp event over the course of 2 and half day event. There will be singing, hot chocolate, dozens of boxes and a whole lotta stars!

As we are going Into the Woods , be warned, you just never know who you are going to meet…

Cuz, I have seen Stranger Things, mystical creatures and things that go bump in the night out there......

OR who you might save . . . because there's A Beast in the Woods mystery

OR who you might have to ESCAPE from . . . cuz there's a killer on the loose, and you may have to solve the mystery before the killer makes you his last victim and gets away......*

*The theme for the escape room has been decided. Details will follow.

My family and I will be traveling to the Oregon area once again for soccer. I'm going to try to grab a few stamps while we are there. I'm wondering if anyone can send me some suggestions? We will be staying in Beaverton, playing in Portland and Vancouver and then staying for a few days in Seaside with a possible drive to Astoria.

As long as no one is lactose intolerant, go for the box : Elvis fans exposed in front page news (box # 295868). It is a drive by, but a delicious one!

To all the Wagon masters: Thank you! It is obvious that a lot of hard work went into this event! I enjoyed the journey (despite being bit by that rattlesnake). The scenic views were amazing and the boxes were so fun to find (except said rattlesnake). Again, I really appreciate all you did to make this such a memorable day! Good job!

Thank you Wagon Masters for a great day yesterday! It had everything I love about boxing- locations I have never been to, awesome carves, different types of puzzles, and amazing people.
It was great to meet everyone, and I look forward to taking another road trip and getting to box with you all again!

omg, then being bitten by a tick and getting lyme is tame by comparison. The rattler gives warning but the tick doesn't. I'll still take the tick instead. Hope you are okay.

Oh dear, didn't mean to make you worry. The rattle snake was part of a box along the Oregon Trail. It looked real enough to give one pause, but it was not (thank heavens). The box was in the snake's coils. I'm sure they chortled with malevolent glee when they planted it beneath the sage brush. Sorry you got lyme disease!

Oh, they set it up well, too. Telling us before we headed out that we were in rattlesnake country and to use our walking sticks to poke in holes! It was probably true, but the snakes would not have been where all those pesky people were tramping about. They would have left for quieter quarters. Lol!

Hi,

Has anyone heard from SassyChicken from Salem? I sent her a message about a few weeks ago, but she hasn't logged in for awhile. I had to pull one of of her boxes and need to contact her to find out what she would like me to do with it. This is an active box.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dear Oregon,

In case you have not heard, the news is grim. Grim indeed! There is a vicious murderer on the loose in Virginia City . . . Jack the Ripper.

Then, apparently there has been a jewel theft! The Pink Panther, the cursed, yet beautiful, just like this captain, has been stolen! Looking for Jr. Letterboxers for this one! Are there any Jr. Letterboxers willing to take on the case and catch this thieving cat red handed?????

And if neither were not enough . . . apparently the Maltese Falcon is back! Yes back! In your neck of the woods, or hills or pass Giegier's Pass. Noir my detective skills please!

If you think you are up to the task . . . if you think you have the gumshoe . . . if you really, really want to attend a super cool captain kitty event because the rumors are true! Then join us. Show us your awesome sleuthing skills . . . .

Shevlin Park Bend Box checkin

I am looking for some assistance on the Covered Bridge box 4076 by 4Dtoes. There was a prescribed burn in Shevlin park, the bridge was removed, trails were consolidated. I’m hoping someone who had previously found it remembers and could DM some deets since I think the clue markers are now gone. I’m trying to recover/save the boxes left in the park! (The Residents Stamps are in good shape, but one is awaiting replanting; the Lost Puppy is believed lost; Funhog’s corn is reported MIA and several trails on that side have been deactivated.) If someone keeps a detailed log or has a great memory, Help and TIA!
