Last Minute Carving help appreciated

Hi all - I just thought I'd put out one last request for stamps for the 2018 Year in Review event being held over New Years weekend up here in snowy Maine. If you can carve a last minute stamp, I'd very much appreciate any help I can get. My RA hands aren't working well in this cold weather. Due date to receive the stamps is 12/27/18. After the event concludes, the whole collection of stamps will be made into a Time Capsule event box, which can travel to events across the US. Currently the Time Capsule 2017 event box is available to travel (with 40+ stamps, it is a little heavy but I don't mind paying the postage for it to be sent as long as the requester doesn't mind paying for it to be returned to me.)

Here are the trackers for the event, with ideas for stamps:
2018 News and Current Events
2018 Pop Culture, Trends and Entertainment
Sports in 2018
In Memoriam 2018
My 2018

Again, thanks for any help that can be had. It's very much appreciated and the drop-in participants love to see other folks work.

Sadly work and distance will keep me from attending your event. I wish you the best with your health journey and I do hope to meet you in the future.
Hugs,

Hi there,

Our next trip will be a fall trip to the Door County Lighthouses and letterboxes. Tentative dates are Sunday, September 22 to Friday, September 27. You arrange your flights to and from Milwaukee and we’ll take care of the rest. We will rent either vans or a bus.

Visit Pinecone Adventures Facebook page and “like” it to get the latest news. If you are interested, please comment on the post about this trip.

Hope to see you on this trip that will be filled with fall beauty, the sea, lighthouses, letterboxes and, best of all, some terrific letterboxers!

See the Texas talk list. Trying to get information on how many of you will be in Kerrville Friday night, if you want to meet for dinner, and where y'all are staying. Please give me your thoughts on that yahoo group list. Thanks!!!

This year my family is hosting our ninth annual Soup's On event in November. We invite boxers to the Western MA region for the day to box, then we have a potluck of crock pot soups for dinner and more boxing in the woods around our home. The theme this year is Autumn.

I am on the lookout for stamps if anyone would be willing to carve, or donate any unused stamps you may have. I can return the stamps or permanently plant them, whatever you like.

Here are some trackers for ideas:

Autumn Holidays
Autumn Scenes
Autumn Treasures

Thanks for considering.

Event in Idaho

The Crafty Mom, babypanda, and I are working on a letterboxing event for late this summer. Logistics still need worked out, but we need to know how much interest there would be for the event. Currently the plan is to have the event over a weekend in September/August (probably Friday evening-Sunday morning). It would be near Boise, Idaho. There will be night boxes as well as boxes to find during the day. The theme is the Enchanted Forest (all things mythical, Narnia, LOTR, OUAT, etc). Because there is a cost for the campground and likely prizes as well we would have a small cost per person.
Any thoughts, tips, interest in this?

Last year was our first time to this event and we were up for 41 hours straight!!! We drove up early Saturday, went to the pre gather, then the main event, afterwards we boxed in the area, then traveled back to hartford, CT and stayed overnight!!! We also boxed on our way to CT. Example of why we are staying for the weekend this time!!!! I am bringing my PTs for at the hotel. Might take to pre gathering, not sure.

As we are just getting back to the game, I am eager to find some events that will be stamp heavy and at a maximum of about six hours from us here in the Lake Norman, NC, area. Yes, I am looking at the events list, yet I would appreciate any tips about upcoming events, too. Thank you!

Howdy and welcome back!! After Geekfest - Letterboxing gone WILD (animals!!!) in September in Raleigh and then Ready, Set, GO! in Mistletoe, GA in November will both be fantastically super awesome large scale events! Mistletoe State Park is at the very top of GA, so you can scoot through SC and join in the transportation themed excitement! So excited to see you at upcoming events!
