Some of you Hoosier (and maybe Buckeye) boxers may have noticed that lately, I've been posting boxes without the clues, stating that they are coming soon. That happened recently with a series called Found in the Woods. Just so's ya know, the boxes are hidden and the clues are posted now. Just giving you a heads-up! Enjoy!

I just got back from Live & Breathe in Texas.
The next one will be in 2023. There is some speculation as to where the next one will be held.
I’ve always thought the Hocking Hills region would be a beautiful location.
Just to put a bug in someone’s ear.

It definitely would be. I don't know how many active letterboxers are in that area, though.

That would be an incredible choice for a big event. It's a gorgeous piece of Ohio. And it's spread out with lots of trails.

I’m from eastern Ohio. But I live in Florida now.
If I lived in Hocking Hills, I would definitely have my hands in this.

TMD and I hosted a Hocking Gathering waaaayyyyy back when. Much fun! And no where near the scope of Live and Breathe.... I came across the event stamp and swag the other day while decluttering. Memories....

I'd consider coming to Ohio. I visited old mans cave once when I lived there. I miss it.

Not sure how to coordinate this but Cleveland has beautiful cultural gardens and I am considering doing a LB series and having people contribute and carve specific stamps to match the gardens.... checking to see if there is an interest and open to thoughts!

not sure yet- wanted to see if there was interest first! There are MANY countries represented by the cultural gardens so it would be a larger undertaking!

Yes I think we would have to.... especially because they are maintained. But I think it would not be a problem

Hope you get a positive response! I would be happy to carve something if you do. I have family in the Cleveland area and visit fairly often, so if this series becomes a reality, I hope to look for them as well. :-)
Woodland Cemetery Boxing Day

TMD and I once again celebrated Boxing Day by letterboxing, of course! We have been getting together on this date since 2003!! This year was especially wonderful as TMD hit the 3K mark on finds. Pretty nifty!

This year, we visited Woodland Cemetery in Dayton as we had not been there in quite a while and there were many boxes we had yet to find. The weather was perfect and almost all of the boxes were found in great shape. A shout out to I Dig Toasters who was the last to find before us!

Also a shout out to Martians 4 who as always provided us with clever titles, fun clues and amazing carves.

May the coming year be full of boxing adventures for all of you--
