Thanks everyone- So much letterboxing excitement this week! :)

Well, I woke up from letterboxing again this morning with AAFrog, my mom and my daughter, and my mom's 95+ y.o. neighbor friend even made an appearance. We got some amazing stamps.

I recently got a crossed sword HH in the BOM I think but didn't write the carver or name in my book. Does anyone know which HH this is? Also the envelope with heart seal.

The envelope with heart seal is part of a series of 4 hitchhikers by kigerlm. AQ 283045. I found red 1 in the Escape from the Zoo LB in Springfield, and red 2 and red 3 at the Lake Darling event last year. The crossed swords HH I also remember stamping, but I couldn't find it in my most recent log book. If no one else comes up with a name, I will look in old log books when I have time.

I have updated this clue to make it easier so that EVERYONE can find this box. Previously, you had to cross a two-lane road to get a photo of the monument in the median. Now the photo is in the clue.
I meant to do this months ago and realized this morning that it would be a great box for folks to find TODAY in remembrance.

Thanks, everyone. I probably won't get in any more fall 'boxing, my dad and step-mom are preparing to drive out and move in with me until they can find a house of their own. So you may get to meet my dad in the spring because he'll probably come with me.

If you don't follow me on Facebook, be assured that they are OK. They escaped the fire with 3 of 4 cats, but it was a terrifying experience. They are staying with friends in Chico and are planning to start their drive here on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Their home was totally destroyed, but they are actually grateful because the place they lived (a small canyon with a creek) is not "paradise" anymore. They can't rebuild in that location because current building code will not let them build right next to the creek (and there is not any other space). I am glad to have them closer to me so that I can help more as they get older. They are actually in pretty good spirits and are finding plenty of silver lining in this smoky cloud. They are fortunate to have their lives, a place to live, and insurance and savings.

I have enjoyed boxing with you in the past, and I hope that we can hit the trails again in 2019.

How old....I'll give you a clue...Carry On Grandma is as old as Jack Benny always said he was. How long has she been Boxing...long enough to get 5000 boxes. My congrats to Carry On Grandma...I've enjoyed meeting you on a number of occassions and hope to see you soon on another trail. Keep on carrying on.

I appreciate all the kind words. One of you asked my age, and the answer is 85. Yes, I have slowed down since I started letterboxing almost 9 years ago. Now I seek out the easy trails and don't box if it is too hot or too cold. 5000 finds was on my bucket list. Now that I have reached that number, my next goal is to log in 1000 personal travelers. I have met many wonderful people along my letterboxing journey, and I hope to meet many more.
