Hey friends-
I am running a small day camp this summer for grades K-6 and the third week of June is going to be 'Detective Week'. I would looove to take my kids letterboxing, but I am way too busy to create and hide boxes for them. If anyone would be interested in creating and hiding a box for my kids to find (it can be a permanent plant), I can give you specific information on where we'll be hunting, as well as any information about the nonprofit I work for (Project Access) if you're curious about that.

Briefly, I run a small community center that is housed in and partially funded by the property management company of Pembrooke on the Green Apartments. The summer camp is only for residents of the complex, and I anticipate about 20 students. Our apartment complex backs up to the Cherry Creek trail at Havana and Dartmouth, and we would also be willing to take the Trail under Havana for a ways, including near Joe Shoemaker Elementary, where many of my kids go to school.

I'd love to get at least 2 boxes hidden within walking distance. Please let me know if you are interested and/or would like more details! Thanks!!

Happy AQversary to my wonderful sister, Loco Wolf! I'm so glad that you started boxing with me and that you have gotten out there on your own. Your carves are wonderful - keep planting out there so the next time I come to visit I can find more of your boxes!

Hopefully next year we can find some boxes in Costa Rica!

Love you, sis! Missing you in NC!

Heads up to anyone that reads this. A 4 ft rattlesnake has taken up residence under the rock with this box. I've checked 3 times the last month, he's always right in front of the box.

https://www.atlasquest.com/showinfo.html?boxId=199122

I tried adding a comment to the box but it requires approval.

There was one coiled around a box I got on the Devil's Backbone in CO....I used my walking sticks to encourage it to move along (having hiked that far I was NOT leaving without the box)....... I'm just sayin'

This event was a HUGE success simply for the fact that the Woodshed took up the responsibility to do it at all-she worked tirelessly and selflessly to make it happen, despite being in the recovery process from orthopedic surgery-she and her husband are amazing hosts! Every detail was seen to-the location, props, creative details; even very generous attendee logbooks, clue books, and gift bags-she covered it all-congratulations on such a wonderfully successful inky-fingers fest! I am grateful for all the stamps, the fun times with friends new and old, and the opportunity to work with them on hosting...this was a first for me and Patty mentored us well! Definitely a "blue diamond" event! :-)
