How soon do you need your winter themed stamps?

Hi all - I'm preparing for the 2017 Year in Review event held over the last weekend of December/first weekend of January. It's always a hard time to carve for others, with the holidays and all, but any additional help I can get would be appreciated. I've listed the 5 series trackers (I've been trying to keep track of the news and trends over the year, so you all have some ideas of what I'm looking for.)

I just held a Harry Potter event and have a bunch of stamps. There is someone else who wants to borrow them, if she doesn't want to during feb and you can get them back to us by when she needs them, then you can borrow them.

I have two that you may borrow: Patronuses and Flourish & Blots.

I have just learned that there's a cemetery about 45 minutes from me that has an Elvis impersonator buried in it, and the headstone features a likeness of Elvis. SWMBO enjoys visiting cemeteries, so we'll probably plan a day trip to this one. I enjoy planting letterboxes in cemeteries too, but my own carving style -- airplanes, cars, fishing lures -- doesn't really lend itself to cemetery hides, so I have only planted a few boxes in cemeteries.

I haven't been to this place yet, so I have no idea if there's a good hiding spot or even if the cemetery is worth bringing people to visit. Making a second trip to go plant a box after I've checked the place out, though, is not likely to happen -- at least not within a year or two.

So, here's the proposal: If someone would like to send me an Elvis-themed stamp before we make this day trip, I'll do my best to plant it. I don't expect there'd be a problem; the cemetery is at the site of an old church, but the church building was blown away by a tornado in 1998. So, it's basically just a cemetery in the woods, I expect.

So, you don't want a flurry of Flying Elvises?

In my area of Florida, there are lots of ponds and lakes -- and they are mostly moccasin-infested mudholes. So there's this guy whose thrill in life is slalom water skiing. He had been skiing on somebody's private lake but that agreement fizzled. He's clearly a wealthy guy, because he owns a business in town and already owned a couple hundred acres of hunting land. Then he came up with a bright idea: He'd dig his own skiing lake on his own land! He soon found that if he had planned to dam up a creek or otherwise disturb some existing body of water, he'd be in for a world of paperwork and permits -- but if you want to dig a lake where there was no water before, well, that's easy, very little permitting required! So he did just that.

It's called Lake 38, and it's on 161 just a few miles NE of Quincy, FL. It's on private land; serious skiers contact this guy for permission to use it. He even built a guest house for them to stay in.

I need a stamp of a slalom water skier to plant just outside this private property, probably along 161 somewhere. My own carving style (airplanes, cars, and fishing lures) doesn't lend itself to this type of stamp, so I'm posting it here and asking for someone else to provide one. If you're up for it, please drop me an AQ-mail. If I get more than one offer, we'll come up with some way to decide who does the carving.

Now that the LLBean event is over - I have a few series that need new homes. I'd like to swap them for a series from someone else that needs a new home.

The Bellamy Bridge is about 1-1/2 hours west of me. I've never been there, but SWMBO and I are thinking of making a day trip before the weather gets too hot and buggy. We were thinking of going yesterday, actually, but reportedly the area is highly flood-prone and it had just rained hard here the day before so we decided to postpone it.

So, is anyone up for carving a stamp for me to plant while I'm there? There are already four geocaches in the vicinity, but as far as I can tell no letterboxes yet.

Hello everyone! Story Weaver and I are hosting a Halloween themed event in Oct. We would love to have stamps from lots of different carvers from all over the country. The name of the event is: All Things Halloween! We would like to have all the stamps by Sept 1, 2018 so that we can build themed pouches and logbooks. Would love to borrow or plant some stamps for an upcoming mystery event. These boxes will be put out for the day (or can be planted in the surrounding area if you want after event).
Any mystery themed stamps, Nancy Drew, Sherlock, Hardy Boys, missing/unidentified things... you pick, anything you think is mysterious. No logbook required or planter pouch/container. But if you want to send one, that's fine.
Event is in November, would need stamps by October. Hope you can help a boxer out!

Reindeer Roundup (about 20 stamps) has visited MO, VA, MA, IN, CO, and PA
