Same as many areas of New Hampshire. We were lucky. We only lost power for 2 days but some are still without power. We have a generator for the 'bare necessities'.

I saw some facebook posts about power being out in Maine but never knew it was the result of a storm. Those Nor'easters are terrible forces. Hope everybody is ok up there.

Well if they plant and don't list on AQ or LB or somewhere where folks can get clues what does it matter. People won't know to look so if they go missing who would know.

I’m on Day Four with no electricity or water here in rural Rhode Island. We MAY get power back Friday night. All due to a four hour wind storm on Sunday, not a drop of rain fell (or snow for that matter).

In the meantime, I have carved three stamps for a new series to be planted at the new preserve near my Narragansett home, and have started on three more for Jiffy’s 2017 In Memorium event (I cleverly chose three rockers to carve so I could get them back in time for my Letterboxers Egg Hunt in April - the theme this year is Rock and Roll).

I discovered carving outside on the picnic table under normal natural sunlight GREATLY increased my ability to see under extreme magnification (I am legally blind). How’s that for a cloud with a silver lining! Bye bye hot hot hot electric lights!

We have started picking up plants in the Mooresville area to pass them on to someone in another area because I think that everyone around here who is going to get them ha gotten them. I am letting you all know just in case. :)

In Planning Stage

This is an event for Geocaching and Letterboxing with USG maps.

We will be adding letterboxes to this years event and are in need of some
people to help out with the Letterboxing side of things.

We will be meeting a few times over the next year in Jackson Ohio to
go over the plans for the event.

We already have a super long list of Door prizes that include a 50 Inch TV.

As of now we are in talks to get a good hunk of the Camp ground. We will post
hotels in Jackson and Athens.

The key point will be Saturday Night in a Cemetery and visiting the Monville
tunnel by moonlight.

My Dear, if you list your event on the Events Page of this web site, with or without a complete name, you will find letterboxers signing up to attend. From there, you will be able to ask them directly and specifically for assistance, whether you need stamp carvers, or help with planting and writing clues, or just general planning. There are people in your general area who have a great deal of experience with this sort of thing and would be a wonderful resource for your event. Naturally, you can edit your listing later once the full name has been determined, and add other clarifiying details whenever you wish.

Yay, you're coming?! I live 20 minutes away in Palm Harbor. There's lots of hotels, some might be 5 miles or so away. Looks like Holiday Inn Express in Trinity is close by. Cross roads close to the park entrance woukd be Little Rd and St Rd 54. If you drive south on Little Rd, it eventually becomes East Lake Rd in Palm Harbor, and I live off that road.
