This letterbox is still available, but hasn't had any finds since 2013. It's a 50s atmosphere with excellent food, so it is definitely worth a visit!

Three cheers to the Scribe team and pulling together the Pokemon event this weekend! A relaxed, yet very enjoyable gathering of new and old friends. We only could visit most of yesterday, but enjoyed the hospitality shown by all Scribe members, including thoughtfulness for sun protection and finding ways to beat the heat! Thank you for laughs, tremendous numbers of fun stamps, and good memories!! A well done event!!

Seconded! It was a great time, and it was wonderful to meet some west coast boxers! Honeymama and I are still here, sadly watching other campers pull in for the evening. Alas!

I concur! It was great to meet folks who traveled here from so far away...thank you for coming! This event was so relaxed and enjoyable. I really had a great time and appreciate my fellow boxers for all the help given to me and to God's Children (who actually broke her foot in two places!). The carving was very good by all who contributed! Thanks again!

Is anyone planning on hosting such a thing in the future?!?! I would be for joining!!

I believe Mark and Sue Pepe are planning a letterboxing cruise in Hawaii next year. Their Pinecone Adventures are always fun. Mark has not yet posted the details.

That could be fun. We are cruising Hawaii ourselves in mid August 2018!

Wow! 12 years! I think that is worth 2 cakes! So glad this fun hobby has brought us together.

I was perusing through my logbook of plants (as some of us are wont to do when it is raining and cold and not letterboxing friendly) and discovered that I actually received a blue diamond. And it is on two of my favorite stamps (that I worked very hard on)! What a pleasant shock!! Little ole me... whooda thunk it?!?!?! Wonder when that happened....

Congrats on the blue diamonds!! It is always fun seeing those in one's plantings!

I am pretty sure the first of each month the algorithm runs to update the top boxes to assign diamonds, so it is possible this was the first month they showed. But, then again, they may have been there for a month or two if it has been a while since you last checked 😀
