I haven't, but I am pretty sure one has seen me! I was admiring some black bear tracks while hiking alone one morning. Then, I realized I was following those very fresh bear tracks. When the hair on my neck stood up, I pulled out my bear spray and backed slowly down the trail.

I think that it fair to say that AQ has many more features than LbNA. Some people list clues in both systems and some only list them in one or the other. LbNA is really just a clue hosting site while AQ takes a whole community approach.

we will want to see the Temple

GreenJello had some amazing boxes inside the Temple compound a few years back.....not sure if they're still active or not. There were also some wonderful boxes in the downtown area......

If you'd like to have the ability to log finds on LbNA that aren't listed, you can vote for it. The easiest way to use Help > Top Suggestions menu then scroll or enter keywords to find what you want to vote for. Entering a comment on the suggestion idea is great too.

You can also view recent changes with Help > LbNA Changes.

I use/support both.
There are certain parts of the US where LbNA is the place to look for clues.
Also, I love looking in the LbNA "basement" for old/archived clues to boxes that haven't been found in a long time.

Not while letterboxing, but when I was a kid camping. While off fishing alone, me and a cub scared the crap out of each other and went running to our mommies.

That's cool. They did list atlasquest.com further down.

6 of 10 of my letterboxes at Hillsborough River State park have gone missing in 2 years, sadly.... very frustrating.

Check Clermont, Florida listings

Also, message to Eeyoremama if she still has the clues to Lake Louisa. The clues for the event were not published, and some or all of the boxes were pulled, they were temporary.

Not while letterboxing...but several years ago when I was sitting at my kitchen table and looking out the window, I saw a black bear walk across my backyard (and I live in a neighborhood, albeit a heavily wooded one)! My jaw dropped!

Yes. Black bears while checking on one of my plants here in Island Park. Near Bear Gulch, ironically enough. I did run into two young grizzlies while walking near another box I planted. The ONE day I forgot to carry my bear spray. So glad they were not aggressive!

My son and I came upon a black bear while letterboxing a couple of years ago. Thank goodness it was more frightened by us and ran off deeper into the woods. I switched out my sig stamp to a photo I snapped of this beautiful (but scary) creature for anyone who wants to see. This was in Maryland.
