ooh - I like this resolution a lot! I might have to steal this for 2017. It may totally annoy my noxer spouse but I'll drag my LB'ing buddy out for more adventures. Thanks for a great idea!

Only because someone switched. They didn't know if that person was going to do what he said.

Your neighbor the town cop questions the people sitting and stamping in your yard near the Box of the Month. I'm surprised it took this long. Evidently I forgot to tell him that it was going to be ok to see people in that area. Oops.

Slightly off topic, but anyone who passes out at the sight of blood, might not be an ideal scout candidate? Don't they use pocket knives, tools of all sorts, etc by age 10 or so? I kind of assumed skinned knees and cuts are the norm for a camping trip.
I took my son to one Boy Scout meeting and he was complaining about ants and spiders, crying and carrying on. We never went back. He is soooooooo not Scout material. Lol.

Funny. When I planted the box in my front yard, I told my neighborhood snoop with 911 on her speed dial that there might be people coming into my yard to stamp.

Well, this was in my elementary classroom, not a scouting situation.

If you watched the highlights at the very end of the show, they showed all 9 votes, 5-4 for Zeke. Will, who initiated the blindside, did vote with the majority.

It depends on the troop. There are some more focused on STEM activities.
I get frustraetd in GS when people assume they don't want to get dirty or do "boy" things at this age. It's becoming true...but I think it's because of what they hear from not-me; not because they ultimately feel girly.

sounds logical. I did the other series a few years ago so naturally I've forgotten the locations of the boxes from it. Thanks for helping.

What am I missing? I seem to remember a widget(?) or a box on the home page that listed anniversaries. But I am not seeing it now on 'my page' or on the home page.

Happy Cake Day RIclimber! I just met him at Soups On last month. He helped me with an interesting challenge on the trail that required at least 2 people to get the stamps.

Ink

I live in a smallish town that has very limited stores with very limited supplies. I get just about everything I need for l Letterboxing and LTCs in towns a couple of hours from me. I have bought various brands of ink and noticed some small differences in them but most colors work well with my projects (I had a yellow that just didn't work but found a second brand that did). However the one color that I can't find a good brand for is black of all colors. I have tried several kinds and they work OK on white but on color paper they all look thin. I can't seem to find a rich black to stamp on color paper. Again, remember I have limited access to ink and when I go to other towns I go to the major stores and don't know where there might be a good ink craft stores. Any suggestions on what brand of black ink works well with stamping on color paper? I'm ready to order on-line but want to know what to buy to make it worth the shipping. Thanks.
