No hell is correct. That state takes forever to drive through. It's even worse when you're hiking through it. :)

I95 isn't so bad - well except for the DC area and the Richmond area. It's when you are going East/West on I64 that seems to take forever. But either way plan on at least five hours in the state.

Or North/South on I81 which is our preferred route from Pennsylvania to Florida because it avoids the DC area. But, oh, that long drive through Virginia makes it seem as though we aren't getting anywhere.

If anybody is nearby or will be passing by this box, apparently, the actual box has been destroyed. The finder said that the logbook and stamp are fine but only in a plastic baggie at this point. If you are able to help by replacing the box, please let me know, and thank you!

Fountain Rock Park and Nature Center in Walkersville, MD has had a rotating series of letterboxes for awhile now. Due to construction in the park as well as missing boxes they were pulled earlier this year.
In honor of Fountain Rock Park's 30th Birthday all four series will be out in the park at the same time. Starting 25 August 2017 they will remain out through Labor Day weekend and possibly September. They will then be pulled and retired. This is your chance to get any missing series or to collect them all in one fell swoop.
There are plans to put letterboxes out again in the park once the construction dust has settled.

Hello everyone, I'm back from a letterboxing hiatus. I am back and checking on and maintaining my boxes, answering my AQmessages and such. Thank you to everyone who has helped when they noticed my boxes needed assistance. Also, thank you to the letterboxers out there that keep the letterboxing experience positive and fun. I am looking at doing an event in December on the 16th in Fairfax-ish area. I'm trying to gauge interest. Should I do an event in December, or wait until February (even though the weather might be more horrible then)?

There's a strong chance I have to work, but if I don't have to, I would be interested! I wouldn't know until early December for sure though :(

We're interested but you know us.. really depends on whats going on pretty much the few days before the event date. Sorry but that's just the way it is.. So December or February either one. But I don't like snow or cold weather!!!!
