Grateful thanks go out to NatureMamaB6 and The Paizanos for the wonderful boxes in Pittsburg NH! My new husband Not A Lone Wolf Anymore's parents live up here and he has gotten me back out on the trails after a 5 year hiatus from boxing - and I am loving it!

We return every few months or so, and plan to hunt up even more!

I am sooo excited to know that box is still up there. So few people have gone after it - but well worth the hike for the beautiful view. I am actually afraid of heights but made myself go up the tower----well, I didn't quite make it to the top like Bubbaloo but - I tried!!!

So I have finally planned out my long awaited camping vacation. I will be staying at wakeda campground for a few days before heading further north to camp in Acadia for 3-4 days. I need suggestions on places to visit, boxes to find etc. I noticed a lot of WOM boxes at Wakeda but wasn't sure if they were still out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

When are you planning on being at Wakeda? I could possibly help you out from there. Yes, the WOMs are no longer there - they were there for our events each year. But there are a couple of boxes there, and there are plenty in the area.

I have not only hosted the events there for the past 4 seasons, but I also work at Wakeda as security, so I'd be happy to meet up with you over there some time and help out in any way I can! Glad you picked the campground - its a really great place!

PS - I have family in the Oxford area. ;)

I got one many years ago and would like to know where I could get more.

most lb patches are done by individuals and can be found at gatherings. another source you might try is to contact mark and sue pepe to see if they have an updated list. this is the list of the ones they have available on their site with contact info, an old list so it more than likely is outdated.

Life has been very busy and it's been a long time since we've planted any boxes.
To celebrate 10 years letterboxing for our family, we have re-planted the Hitch-hiker Hotel Hostel.
Just wanted to share.
We're hoping to plant more soon and encourage others to get outside and plant some boxes!
