Sue & I are tying in a few days in NV with a UT visit in early/mid April next year. We'd love to meet up with some area boxers for some exchanges. So far, we plan a day at Death Valley and one at Mojave, staying mid-way for a night. Then we move to Vegas for 4 nights to meet with family but might have a few hours to meet up there as well.

Can't wait to see NV as it's our first visit there!

I am scheduled to return to Las Vegas around November 6 and will be there until about the 20th. I was unable to hook up with local boxers last April, but would like to try again. I am not sure of my availability yet, but would love to find some cool boxes.

I hope we can meet up this time. We have a new boxer here in town and she has planted a lot of new boxes.

We (RainbowPenguin) and I would be down for a meet up, but weekends are best for us!

Yes, in fact I've been here for about two weeks now. Unfortunately been too busy with work to attempt have a meet up. I will be here until next Tuesday evening. Leaving on Wednesday. Then I'll be back sometime the first or second week of December for a few days.

Anyone who is available, send me a private message and maybe we can meet up briefly between now and next Tuesday. I have a couple sets of stamps with me that I brought.

Ohmygosh you people are the BEST! I thank you all for making the trip and being so understanding of my newbie errors. It was a great day. After two days of rain (What? Rain in Las Vegas?) we had a beautifully dry day and none of the predicted wind. No sunburns, heat strokes or falls. It doesn't get any better than that. A big shout out to Uphill Fool, my ever supportive (tolerant) hubby, for cooking for us and filling our bellies with hot food. Thanks for filling up the donation jar and bringing food and treats. Today I gave the leftover food items to my neighbor who will use it to feed the homeless. Now, back to holding down my couch cushions!

Just want to add my two cents about the event. Trishee and Uphill Fool you did an amazing job in putting this event together and making everyone feel at home and full. Enjoyed seeing and meeting everyone there. These events are truly the best gatherings ever. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful time.

Thanks Trish, this was an excellent event. Thanks for providing the clue packets for area boxes. The food was the best, another plate if pasta, please!!! You hit it out of the park!!

Was it serendipity? As we drove out of Calico Basin at 5:00pm, it began to sprinkle a bit. We were treated to a lovely rainbow ahead of us. And behind us to the west, a simply gorgeous rust/red/orange sunset! Awesome ending to an awesome day!

Hi NV boxers,

As promised, we finally have our plans organized and we can meet for exchanges at the following:

April 8, Saturday at Red Rock Canyon. We'll be there mid morning. We can firm up a time if there is any interest in meeting us there for an exchange, some letterboxing conversation and to enjoy the park. We plan to spend until about 3pm there (if there is enough to see.) Otherwise, we can move to another area but we have to head back to our hotel by 3pm because we have tickets to an early show that night.

Looking forward to meeting those that can make it. And really excited about our trip~
